Beautiful room over the water. Could use a refresh. Staff was less than helpful; we felt like an inconvenience. We were offered a free continental breakfast our first day but not after that. Unsure why.

The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!

"The cottage was conveniently located to the beach and having kayaks at our disposal was a huge benefit. The beds were also very comfortable.
