Unfortunately the hotel resort is under construction. One pool is not available and the other is in very rough condition as well as the playground is not available. All of this could have been okay however we weren’t notified of this and we specifically booked based on having everything available. Beach also does not look like the photos (very rough beach) and the second beach is only available on the weekends. Not at all what we booked. Also, hopefully you don’t end up in a standard room as construction starts around 8am, goes all day and is VERY VERY loud

This hotel needs upgrade. I’ve stayed this hotel early1980’s and it’s still the same. Nothing has changed. Bed is too small and hard ( size good for kids only). Towels are old and rough. Room is dark and bathroom faucet needs change. Room and bathroom is dark need to change lighting. No vanity mirror in the bathroom. Bathtub should be changed to walk-in shower. No bidet in the toilet. This hotel should rate 2 stars not 4 stars. Breakfast not good.

The salt water lagoons were attractive, especially if you reserve a lagoon view room. We didn't get any cleaning service because we apparently had a light on that meant "Do not Disturb", but we don't know how we turned it on. That worked out fine because we were on a short weekend honeymoon. I loved the shower in the bathroom, with multiple water jet outlets for maximum water massage and relaxing, and the water temperature could be easily adjusted. Even better than in my condo I was renting in Cebu City. There seemed to be a decent amount of activities available like biking (we rented a tandem bicycle), played ping pong and billiards in their game room for free, but there was so much more we didn't have time to try. The breakfast buffet we had was included in our reservation/billing for free and was one of the best breakfast places I have ever had in Cebu, and never walked away hungry! The staff was very courteous and helpful from every restaurant on the property we tried. As an American, I'm used to larger portion sizes for any lunch or dinner entrée that I order, so that is just a minor complaint; however, the food quality and especially the flavor of my order was superb. I would go back to their Palermo restaurant again, no question! Their excellent staff should be proud of the work they did to make our time as happy as they made me and my wife for our short stay. Staff friendly, they helped Accommodate my room situation since some bugs were found. Other than that it was a pleasant stay
