Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Pacijan Island?
The best area to stay on Pacijan Island is in the vicinity of Santiago Bay, located on the island's south-eastern coast.

This area is the most developed part of Pacijan Island for visitors, offering a good selection of accommodation options, from boutique hotels to guesthouses. Santiago Bay itself is a beautiful, long stretch of white sand, ideal for relaxing and swimming. You'll find a few beachfront restaurants and small shops here, and the general layout is relaxed and uncrowded.

Couples looking for a serene and picturesque escape will find Santiago Bay particularly appealing. The calm, clear waters are superb for swimming and paddleboarding, and the sunsets over the bay are quite stunning. Many accommodations offer private balconies with sea views, providing a romantic setting.

Families will also appreciate the gentle waters and soft sand of Santiago Bay. It's an excellent spot for children to play, and some resorts offer family-friendly amenities like swimming pools and easy access to the beach.
When is the best time to go to Pacijan Island?

Peak season generally falls between December and February, especially around Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year. If you're planning to travel during these times, it's wise to book your flights and accommodation well in advance, as prices can be higher and popular spots get busy.

For those looking to avoid the busiest crowds while still enjoying excellent weather, the shoulder months of November, March, April, and May are great alternatives.
