Philippines Mountain Holidays

The location was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival to get upgraded to a Sea/Mountain view villa, and the accommodations were very nice! This definitely enhanced our 7-day stay. Housekeeping were on top of things, and kept our room clean and tidy. Had one small issue with the hot water disappearing one day, but as soon as we notified staff they were on it and fixed it immediately. The only area in which our experience would have been enhanced is an expansion of the menu. All of the Filipino dishes were very good, but the menu was somewhat limited, particularly for breakfast. If your stay is only a couple of days this likely won’t be an issue, but for a week a bit more variety would be nice. However, this was not enough to take my rating down to a 4. There are too many other great things that make the Matinloc Island Resort well worth visiting. We would definitely return for a second visit. Will try to post a few pics if I can once posted to Expedia. Words alone don’t do the place justice.

Daluyon is a beautiful beachfront resort, I love that they have kayaking and paddleboarding available for guests which we enjoyed . The breakfast is inclusive and it was delicious, service was warm and exceptional. We enjoyed our dinner at the beach and the strawberry mojito was delicious. Booking our tours was very efficient and easy, front desk is very attentive. Laundry service is also available so we did not have to pack wet clothes. The Filipino massage was very good and just what I needed to ease some tensed muscles. Daluyon is a beautiful beachfront resort with exceptional service and staff. It’s also located very close to the world famous Underground River, sadly our tour was cancelled due to some bad weather, I guess this gives us some good reason to come back, thank you Daluyon staff for such wonderful service!

Very pleasant checking although I arrived at midnight. The airport transportation by hotel connection was professional and very nice vehicles. The hotel is beautiful. Room is 20th with city view. Spotless. Did not have time to enjoy breakfast buffet but the display are huge and colorful live big Las Vegas hotels.

The rooms are updated and cleaned daily. Robes are available as well as toiletries. The bed was firm but comfortable and the bedding was ideal ! The staff were welcoming and always willing to help you with any questions or needs. The buffet breakfast had a great variety and specialty coffees were included. We loved our morning Americanos! The pool was perfect! The small village next to the resort offered a taste of the true Philippine culture!
