Very nice hotel. The staff were all really nice and ready to help. Clean rooms. Restaurant was really good especially our weiter Johann. Bar was well stocked with servers nice and knowledgeable. Would certainly go back.

Perfect location, nice rooms, sauna/spa was helpful after a lot of hiking
Two real complaints
First, the room doors were super thin, so we could hear everything going on on our floor and in the town, basically all night long
Second, the food on-site wasn't quite what we were hoping for, could have used higher quality burgers and wings (both of which were hyper processed, not fresh at all)
Minor point - we agreed to pay extra to check-out late (fine, that's not exactly unfair)
But when the property ran out of hot water that morning, and the whole point of late checkout was kind of lost (so we could shower after visiting Machu Picchu), they stuck to their guns and charged us extra. Would have been a good time to refund the extra charge.
