Such a special place in a magical town . The views the gardens the kindness from all the staff . I can’t wait to come back one day .
Highly recommend this gem
Beautiful room, staff was very helpful. Gardens around the facility were amazing inviting lots of birds. Saw at least two species of hummingbirds here.
Was a bit of a trek from the train station, clear across town but the ambience was worth it.

Lovely location at the back of town. Everyone was lovely, the breakfast was decent enough. It’s quite expensive for what it is and very noisy if you are in a downstairs room. You can hear everything from above. Otherwise enjoyed our stay
The hotel is located at a beautiful and quiet location. The hotel staff was super helpful in setting up the heaters for our room and preparing hot breakfast for us.
Very friendly staff and quiet location in the small town; delicious home made breakfast and cute outdoor space to enjoy the fresh air, would highly recommend it!
Spurs Lodge was the perfect stop over on the way to Machu Picchu for my family of 5. We had a comfortable room with a large bed for my wife and I and each of my children had their own beds. The grounds were beautiful and I enjoyed sipping cocoa tea and watching the hummingbirds in the morning. The staff helped carry baggage from the main plaza where the taxi dropped us off. They provided information about the town and what to see and do to make the most of our short stay.
The staff was amazing and also the breakfast was so delicious cooked the order. I like the location. It was close to everything in town. I would definitely stay here again, we stayed as a family of five.
This little gem made our entire trip so much more than expected! Researching Machu Picchu and ways to get there was overwhelming until we found this cute, quaint and charming b&b. Highly recommend staying in Ollantaytambo versus Cusco…you experience a lot of local influence without the overly tourist aspect. As someone who is well traveled in their career and stays in luxury hotels for work often, I can say with complete confidence that this place has the most wonderful hospitality, charisma, and character. The proprietors of this property really know what they are doing! And while it is an extra 8-10 minute walk to the town’s square/train station, its quiet charm, peace and garden is well worth it! Breakfast every day was with fresh bread, jam, and ready to order eggs. They had amazing local recommendations and helped ensure we had an INCREDIBLE dinner at a local restaurant 2 blocks over. The room overlooked the gorgeous garden and only enhanced the views of the incredible Andes mountains surrounding us! This place will forever hold a special place in my heart and I look forward to the day I get to come back.
What an amazing place! Wish we had stayed longer. The views are breath-taking and it's located 0.2miles away from the din of the central square but is easily walkable. The breakfast spread was spectacular and made with fresh ingredients. Overall a great experience!
Apu Lodge was a charming place to stay. We really enjoyed the patio area and the beautiful views, along with the sound of the river from our balcony. The room had everything we needed for our trip, and the breakfast was outstanding. However, the only aspects we didn’t like were the carpet on the floor and the loud noise from the bathroom extractor fan.
Absolutely wonderful stay for my daughter and me at Apu Lodge! Quiet and super clean rooms. Breakfast was wonderful and staff couldn't be more helpful.

Amazing stay & staff!
We had a great stay! Friendly staff. Very clean. And you can’t beat the location. It was very quiet and located walking distance to the plaza.
Leo was magnificent! The property ground is beautiful and relaxing. I wish we would have planned to stay longer. If we ever visit Ollantaytambo again, we will choose Apu Lodge over and over again.
We stayed at Apu Lodge for three nights before the Inca trail trek. It is a great location- Ollantaytambo has many sights and good restaurants and the staff at Apu Lodge are just wonderful. The rooms we had were very nice (family of four and teens had their own room). We had never been to Peru before and we had everything we needed at Apu Lodge to feel at home.
Very pretty grounds.. stayed just a night but wished we would have stayed longer. Very clean with everything you would need for the night. Accommodated an early breakfast before our departure for Machu Picchu. Easy walk to the center of the town and to the train station. You can also walk to the center of the town and take a Tuk-Tuk to the train station. Overall I would stay here again!!!
