Middle Torch Key All inclusive Holidays

The rooms had an odd smell we contact the lobby they didn’t want to change our rooms. The bathroom had dirty residue everywhere carpets stank the room was set at 62 very cold the thermostat wasn’t working

Extremely misleading listing - this is not a hotel Very disappointing experience. The rooms is advertised on Expedia as “RS Suites - District 225 Miami”, giving the impression that this is a hotel or serviced-apartment property. In reality, the accommodation is inside a residential condominium building. There is no hotel lobby, no traditional hotel reception, no room service, and no hotel operation as I would reasonably expect from the way this property is presented on Expedia. The room appears to be an individually managed studio/condo unit, and I was contacted by an operator identifying themselves as “The Bay Suites.” The way the property is presented is particularly misleading because the Expedia listing and Google Maps presentation make it appear to be a hotel at this location. The actual experience is very different from what I expected when booking accommodation described as a hotel/suites property. I am extremely disappointed that Expedia allows a property to be marketed in this way and I would strongly recommend that anyone considering booking this property carefully verify what they are actually booking before paying..
