Really nice hotel good location

The resort just has a beautiful feel to it; surrounded by lush garden, and on the lagoon. Despite being so big, it is very well configured to feel very private and quiet.

Resort is quiet, however not really up to resort standards. Even though the pricing is high the facilities are tired. No genuine snorkeling on offer in the bay area of resort. One bed had bed mites during our week long stay. There is an extremely limited selection at the small shop, e.g. no tissues or fresh fruit. Restaurant menu very limited and repetitive. Not good value as very expensive to get on and off the island to do any kind of day excursions. Would recommend no more than a two night stay.

The Resort was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was oldish and wasn't exactly clean i.e. mould in bathroom/toilet and kitchen cooktop. But overall, for the price, it was a huge apartment and we enjoyed our stay :)

Great location - so close to everything we wanted on a family holiday, but being just one half block away from the main street it was nice and quiet. The heaterd pool was a winner. The accommodation (2bd 2 bathrooms) was great for our family of four. Kitchen we well stocked (loved the toasted sandwich maker and tupperware). We walked everywhere - the playground, the beach, the coastal walk, coffee, dinner, Cane Toad Racing, Coles. Can't wait to stay here next time.

Really nice hotel good location

First room was terrible! Spiderwebs, and very unclean, barely 3 stars, dated and very dirty! The bed was terrible! probably one of the worst ever in our travels - the mattress completely sank and couldn’t sleep! We got upgraded to the next category which was acceptable and close to 4.5 star perhaps. Dinner at the Pacific was average and expensive. Not good value. Breakfast was probably 3.5 star. The best dinner and highlight was Amici’s which we were fortunate to experience on our last evening. The island itself is spectacular and one of the most beautiful in the world. I think what let the overall place down was the lack of cleanliness and the lack of attention to detail as well as the food. The staff were lovely. However the service when we were ringing to request things was terrible as most of the time our calls were not answered. Overall a paradisaic experience let down by a lack of resources, passion and training - let down by humans - a paradise deserves perfection at least close to it .. the intercontinental fell very short of the mark and what could’ve been.
