Liked the 2 br unit, nice spacious property, excellent and friendly staff, especially the activities team. Everything was great.

The Marquis resort is clean and comfortable. The service was excellent, the staff is very friendly. The food was delicious. The Spa was ok but the massage was great very relaxing.

The 2 BR suite was perfect for our family. There were some challenges with keeping our room cool and we didn’t know about the What’sApp Guest Services line until later in the trip, missing out on using Room Service for a few days (the phone in our room didn’t work). It was a bit of a hike to get to the main part of the hotel, so lots of walking, steps, or golf cart rides (that were easy to access). We loved the beautiful grounds, plentiful pools, and scenic beach (beach shoes worked best to walk through the rocky sand). We loved Dayana in the activity pool and participated in many activities each day (Zumba, trivia, volleyball, Crazy games, etc.) Misael made us amazing Mexican coffee and table-side guacamole at the Mexican restaurant twice on our trip. The Italian restaurant was probably our favorite. They make a delicious Carajillo. Overall the food and drinks were very good. We were happy to be able to order snacks and lighter food items to our pool chairs or go to sit down someplace. Service was very good and we always tip. Please take care of servers for taking such good care of you. Our week flew by and we would not hesitate to return.

Overall, very good experience. The area and swimming pools were well maintained. Staff were friendly. As we went during an off period there was no buffet available for lunch as well as dinner. The only options for dinner were the grill, an Italian restaurant and a French restaurant. The French restaurant does not allow children so that made it difficult for us. The wait times for the other restaurants were very long. overall great experience, but food options were lacking compared to other all-inclusive hotels.
