Non-stop flight Melbourne-Santiago

From 5 October 2017, LATAM will operate three non-stop flights per week between Melbourne and Santiago, Chile – one of the airline’s principal hubs – that offers onward connections to an unrivalled 124 destinations throughout Chile and the region, including direct services to major cities such as São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Lima, Bogota and Quito.

The 787-9 Experience

Passengers flying with LATAM en route to South America will experience the state-of-the-art design and technology of the Boeing 787-9, providing greater comfort, security, and efficiency. The aerodynamics of the 787-9 incorporates technology that reduces the impact felt by the passenger due to turbulence and the unique pressurisation of the cabin results in the reduction of headaches or other symptoms a passenger might experience when flying, allowing travellers to arrive fresh at their destination.

LATAM Business class passengers, have the privilege of access to a wider network of some of the best premium airport lounges in the world. More than 550 VIP lounges belonging to LATAM and other airlines from the oneworld alliance offer a range of complimentary benefits including refreshments, meeting facilities, shower suites and Wi-Fi connectivity. The LATAM dedicated lounges in Santiago, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Bogota can be accessed by economy passengers for USD50 subject to space.
