A hotel to be considered. Very nice rooms.
The hotel is very modest looking from the outside. When you arrive, you’ll probably think you’re entering a factory building or warehouse. Please make sure you’re not at the back entrance of the hotel. The front door has a machine for self check in. On a scale of 1 to 10, the outside and first impressions as entering the hotel would get a 2 or 3. But on the inside, including rooms, it would get a 9 or 10. Rooms are spacious, very modern, have coffee and tea, and also blinds to keep the room in darkness at sunrise. Rooms are very good indeed. If you’re not fussy about how the hotel looks from the exterior, you’ll be very satisfied with the room itself.

While the Hotel is conveniently located and the rooms are fine, the check In is a hazard since the Touch Screen is not properly functional. It took me several attempts to type in my Name after having to stand in Line with3 others checking in each taking some 15 minutes to type in on the touch screen.

Don’t listen to other reviews. Great hotel
Enjoyed our stay here. We contacted the hotel via email ahead of time to provide our passport number for self check in. It was a quick convenient drive from the airport. There is ample amounts of well marked parking surrounding the building. The self check out has a language option we were able to log in with English. The process was easy except the buttons for ‘u’ and ‘n’ didn’t seem to work so I hit them repeatedly until they finally did. The room itself was pretty easy to find. The elevator is very tiny. But the room is clean, energy friendly. Decent view. Nice big bathroom. Worth the price. Was very quiet in the area- has a really good sleep as a result. The breakfast was good. It was our first Swiss breakfast. The employee was attentive and restocked when things were empty so we were able to enjoy a full compliment. I would recommend if you’re on a budget but want something clean and comfortable !

Clean but weird
The actual room was very nice, spacious, and clean. The area was very weird, kind of like an industrial park area. The building is a business space, just weird for me. If you are looking for a kid or family area, this is not it. If you are looking for a place to find to have a night or two before your flight, this place is for you...

It is very inexpensive and provides basic clean new condition accommodations. This is close to self service to eliminate staff cost. Good enough for a late night stay. Location was in an industrial park.

This shouldn’t be classified as a hotel. There is not front desk, so check in is completely independent. Our room smelt like smoke (even though the hotel was smoke free), and not clean. I honestly did not feel safe at this property. Do not stay here.

Booked this hotel because of its location near the airport. Self check in was fine, but hotel was just so so and there was no working wifi. There was no one to talk to about the internet (self service hotel), and it made checking in for a flight very frustrating.

Booking was easy, hotel area & rooms were spotless. Parking is somewhat limited, but adequate. Front desk staff were particularly helpful in helping us find a local tire store, which service was greatly appreciated.

The hotel had 24 hour self checkin, free parking on site. The rooms were clean, they did not have AC, but had fan (not at Non Ac hotels have fans in EU), so that was a plus. It was a short drive to train station- from where we could get to Zurich HB.

Decent hotel except spider issues and loud AC
I had to book a cheap last minute hotel near by Zurich airport and Hotel Hori INN was available. It's an automated machine to check you in if you go after office hours. Pro: Automated checkin machine was easy to use - they had different language options. Room was pretty spacey with a comfortable bed. Room didn't have much but it had coffee/tea/cookies/water for one guest. Bathroom was pretty clean too. Con: AC was really loud. I had to wear earplugs to fall asleep. There are two gigantic spiders on the ceiling. There was nobody to call at midnight so I couldn't do anything but they are NOT small.

Zurich
The hotel is within 15 minutes drive to Zurich airport. It has an interesting setting. The building has different offices. I couldn't see any public transportation near the hotel, which is located in a industrial area. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. and check-in electronically, never did see a human being. It does have free parking in the premises. The room were nice and clean. Driving to the nearest restaurant is about 4-7 minutes.

Nice looking but
This was a nice looking hotel but very informal. The building pretty much runs itself. There was no one to help greet you or help with Bach’s etc. Lighting on the outside of the building is lacking a lot. It was super dark upon arrival. This was very uncomfortable especially for a visitor of the country such as myself. The internet was NOT working on the last two days for me! So frustrating because I needed to adjust things on my right and couldn’t. I had to use my roaming charges to go on the internet. Now I will pay a BIG Phone bill. Place was clean. No phone in my room? No iron? If you like to be left alone this is the the hotel for you.

It is a converted factory in an industrial area.
In an industrial area with workshops and truck parts businesses adjoining. Layout of the facility is unsettling - rooms open onto internal common area where truck drivers drink and socialise. Rooms basic (no aircon) but fairly clean.

Unfortunately the hotel doesn't have air condition and since during my stay there were ca. +30°, the room was so hot that I didn't manage to sleep that much -> that's the only bad thing about this location because the personnel has been very kind and helpful!

Wonderful room in an out-of-the-way neighborhood
I was traveling with my son for pleasure when I stayed at the Hori Inn. The room itself was fabulously outfitted, clean, and comfortable. The inn itself was a little out of the way with not much convenient food or other services. The inn is in a building occupied partly by the inn and partly by other companies and the surrounding area is industrial, making it a little strange, but it was quiet and out of the way. Check-in was handled by an automated kiosk rather than a person.

Good bang for the buck
This is a great option if you're looking to save some money but not have to sacrifice on cleanliness or comfort. This hotel is a converted warehouse. Has a washing machine room if you need. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Located about 15 minutes from Zurich. We booked 2 rooms for our family of 5 and all were satisfied. No problems with checking in... enter some personal information at the entrance door machine (like an ATM) and it spits out your room keys. The breakfast didn't look so good, so we drove 10 minutes down the road to a supermarket that had a wonderful café attached. All in all, a good "no thrills" place to stay.

Two nights on an industrial area. Strange self check in. Nothing in walking distance. We had two rooms. One had ac the other direction didn't. Don't waste your money on the breakfast

The check in was a little difficult and the cab ride was too expensive,take the bus. This is a very nice place once you get settled in and learn your way around. The staff were great and very helpful. There is a washer and dryer you can use which was nice. Breakfast was pretty good and nice to get the day started with.It is in an industrial park but it's a great price and a good location if you want to be a little way away from the city

Don't be fooled by outside appearance.
Really got surprised by the machine check in. Being a tech guy i loved dealing with machines rather than people ;) I wasn't too please when i was not able to type in the date of birth as key board was in the way. Room i got was awesome!!! really loved the room, shower.

overnight in the Hori inn
We stayed in this hotel just overnight because our flight was delayed until the morning. I thought it was closer to the airport but turns out it was a 60. swiss frank taxi ride away. And when we arrived around 9:00 p.m. the reception was already closed so we had to do a check-in with a machine outside the hotel. We saw no one and heard no one in the hotel. It was spooky. But the next morning the staff were very friendly and helped us order a taxi to return to the airport. The hotel is very new, clean but I do not suggest you stay there unless you have a car. And there are no restaurants close by. It is kind of in an industrial zone.

This hotel is very close to airport and taxi took our entire family for decent amout. However, though it is close to airport, the hotel is off motorway & quite interior. Do not expect to reach the hotel by foot from airport. Check In Process After hour check in is self checking using a booth like a budget hotel, however the prices were not that of a budget hotel. Much higher than that. The check in process on the booth itself took us about 45 minutes in the freezing cold. hence would not rate the experience as the best one to be honest. Also the system did not recognize one of our bookings event after entering all the details. We got hold of someone locally from streets and called helpline using an international roaming number, entire process took us about 15 minutes and got our replacement key costing me GBP 50 just for the call.. grrr Rooms The building hosts other occupants from the hotel as well and their roomsvery very good, no issues on that, in fact they were very good for a hotel located in an industrial area near airport. Breakfast Very bad variety or offering for breakfast, if given an option I would choose room without breakfast. however the good thing was we wanted a medicated drink made of tea, milk and medicinal spices that morning and the receptionist was more than helpful for the same. Overall I would rate the hotel 2.5-3 out of 5 purely because of the location and check in experience,

If arriving late - this hotel is not for you
Colleague needed to checkin to this hotel - this they found to be almost an impossibility despite me paying on my credit card - the problem being this is one of these modern hotels with no staff! So unless you have the original credit card its impossible to check in! This isn't ideal when it's close to midnight and you have been travelling all day. Reporting back the room was nice and comfortable however the breakfast which was paid for in advance was terrible.

this is a not recommended by myself & would tell advise that you look else where instead of the is hotel. There is no staff & the hotel is in the middle of no where. Trying to find out information even just to get something to eat is a joke. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!
