"It was very clean. Everything you need was there. The front porch and windows make such a wonderful atmosphere to view the water, sunrise, sunset, stars. The kitchen island was the star. We all gathered, played games and ate together. Close enough to a store, but far enough to feel lost in a country scene. Neighbors were close, but still private. Minimal complaints: later on dock tricky to use, but I don’t think there wasn’t anything you could do about that. Also wish there was a fire pit and kayaks. I would definitely rent again. Easy space, accessible and clean."

"The house was very comfortable and clean. It was very close to wineries, breweries and the marina. The sunsets were as advertised. I would definitely recommend this property."

"Lake Effect was a really terrific place to escape in August. The bedrooms were roomy with comfortable linens and mattresses. The main bedroom has an office that we utilized when we had to work for a few days. Also, its bathroom was quite big with a bonus built-in music stereo. The living room was quite spacious and kitchen well stocked with utensils and supplies. There is a tv den next to the kitchen that was a lovely retreat to play card games, read and relax. The basement offered an ample space for my teenage kids to escape, play games and watch tv at odd hours.Fire pit was wonderful and i highly recommend to set it right before sunset. The lake was stunning!! We chilled out on the deck and took our drinks there and watched the sunset during many evenings. Water was clear in the morning when it was undisturbed. Kids loved kayaking and floated around everyday.Overall, we would highly recommend you staying here. And we would love to come back for another family vacation."

"It was such a pleasure staying at this home! We had 5 little kids with us and they had such a good time! Very accommodating and roomy for our party of 10 and three dogs. Lots of outdoor toys for some fun too! The house was very beautiful, family friendly, and clean and so close to many different vineyards and parks! The host is extremely communicative and answered all my questions during our stay. It was such a pleasure and we would love to stay again someday! Thank you again for hosting us Donna!"

"A great time at this cabin directly on the lake. Easy dog-friendly stay. Be prepared for stairs to your private dock-they are very sturdy but lots of them!! The views were incredible-fun time in the kayaks!!"

"this house is fully stocked for fun and relaxation. kitchen has everything you need, actually there are two kitchens. the house has the kayaks, stand up paddleboards, inner tubes, balls, and more,z. the hot tub is great, the location can’t be beat."
