Exceptionally Charming Boutique Hotel

Hotel Berghof is exceptional - a uniquely charming family-owned boutique hotel. Great location and spectacular views with kind and attentive hosts. Will absolutely stay here again for our next visit to Zermatt.

I loved the decor of the hotel, staff were very friendly and accommodating. The swimming pool was lovely after a day in the snow. The other bonus was the hotel was right next to a ski lift.

We absolutely loved this stay, from the dining area to the bar and outdoor terrace it had a lovely cosy feeling and then to our room we chose one of the suites, lovely room cosy with what must have been one of the best views of the Matterhorn, would definitely come back.

Excellent small hotel with beautiful pool areas (including one for adults only, very nice). A bit far out of town but certainly walkable, and the big upside to being out of the fray is being nestled in a quiet area. Views of the Matterhorn are amazing; staff is wonderful. Would stay there again!

We had a great stay in the family room, with ample space! Breakfast was fabulous and views of the Matterhorn were amazing! Next door to the Gondola to take you all the way to Glacier Paradise!

A lovely hotel in a great location. Awesome breakfast and facilities including a spa. The male manager is a bit grumpy, he needs a hug or two probably. Warmly recommended.

Nestled at the foot of the Matterhorn

The location is the obvious selling point (the hotel features a private elevator down to the gondola, accessible just outside of the equipment storage room- convenience to the max) but the hotel itself is so beautiful! And the view is unbeatable!! Great daily breakfast featured, wonderful patio with Matterhorn view where you can enjoy drinks and complimentary snacks. The room is spacious and features a fireplace and balcony- 5 stars all around!

My new favourite hotel I have EVER stayed at. Our room had a balcony that looked directly at the Matterhorn. The room was amazing and the pool area... I could go on and on. The property is simply stunning and has so much charm. We will definitely be back.

We have picked this in last minute. Wow! What a gem. Staff very friendly, the hotel is beautiful and very cozy, clean and in a perfect location. Very easy to walk about town. Near transportation and amazing convenience for skiing. My husband and I stayed there three nights and wish we would have a couple more nights. We will Dębe coming back. Beautiful boutique hotel steps from Matterhorn Paradise Gondola. Wide and big swimming pool with lights, cabanas, lounges and sofas around the pool. I forgot my bag in the golf cart that dropped us to the train station and left the town ( from hotel to train station is 10 min ride). When I realized about it and called the hotel, the staff was willing to meet me at the station with my bag to save my time. This is outstanding service along with the check in, bar and hotel staff.
