A wonderful eco resort! Cute bungalow's with compost toilets. We slept with all the windows and doors open to enjoy the ocean breeze. staff and food fantastic. Good snorkelling. Coconut crab night walk was fascinating. We climbed up the lighthouse and walked around the island on low tide - saw heaps of starfish and crabs! We also relaxed in the swinging day beds and read our books. 4 nights was a lovely amount of time if you can…but lots just came for 1 night.

Our week in Zanzibar had many highlights but the Zanzi Resort was the daily sanctuary that we appreciated the most.
The new managers and their staff had only us clients in mind as they tend to our whims in a most encompassing but professionally discrete way.
This resort is a small boutique arrangement of only seven detached villas, each with private beach area, pool with swim jets and modern interiors. Exceptional.
Security and seclusion are assured in the walled, picturesque grounds....

If you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday in a safe and idyllic island setting this is it. We fell in love with this simple, elegant hotel and our beachfront cottage and made the most of the beautiful surroundings, family-friendly bar complete with bush babies, and the most amazing natural beach. The hotel’s decor and ambience were absolutely lovely. I had a beautifully spacious room with a balcony. The rooftop provides a wonderful venue for breakfast and dinner. The hotel arranged a transfer from the airport- very helpful as the hotel is located in the midst of Stone Town’s maze of lanes.

sensational.. from the perfect location to the perfect staff...we stayed here for 5 nights of pure bliss.. the food is to die for... we were excited everyday as to what we would be eating for dinner... The ambience at Mvuvvi is rarely found ,so relaxing you need to remember to breath...we came from royal Zanzibar at Nungwi to finish our holiday..Our only regret was we didn't stay at Mvuvvi the whole time ..
