"I have traveled extensively, and stayed at many great hotels/resorts, and this is probably the best I have ever stayed at. Amazing villa with plunge pool, dinner and location with animals abounding. Wonderful food, accommodating staff and just an amazing property. At a very reasonable price."

"The pool was a godsend as it was really hot out and the pool was refreshing. The staff was great and took the time to always see how we were. The apartment was large but a little dated which probably was in tune with the charm of the hotel. "

"This property is beautiful and breathtaking. The views and the finishes are immaculate. Everything was clean and luxurious. The food and the staff on the other hand were not. It took over an hour for our food and waters to come. The orders were totally wrong. 2/3 of us actually got sick because they did not listen to our food allergies. We waited 30 minutes for our bill to come. And then, after a small disagreement were told, we didn’t have to pay for food that we didn’t actually eat. It just seems very unorganized and their communication was very poor. Not a language barrier, more like a lack of customer service skills. We only stayed here our last night in Zanzibar because we had an early flight the next morning, but if I stayed again I would definitely not eat on the property. Had we not got sick they would have gotten 4 stars."
