I’m so shocked to read this review. I’m sorry to be just now hearing how disappointed you were, many of these things could have been taken care of for you had your reached out during your stay. In future I suggest you contact your host so they can have the opportunity to atleast try and accommodate you. We definitely do not discourage anyone from having a fire, just don’t want it used during high winds or for excessively large fires, for safety reasons. I’m not sure why you felt that way. The slide and door are working now, I’m certain they were working during your stay as well, but that is something we could have sent someone to help you with as well. The metal dining chairs were chosen for sanitary reasons, especially in today’s climate I am not unhappy with that decision, we also left 2 cushions in the hall closet for people with sensitive bums. The saloon doors are purely for decoration and a touch of privacy, I will look into installing hooks on the walls to keep them open. I’m not sure what to say regarding the toilets, they are standard sized toilets and I’ve never had any issues or complaints. Propane and wood are close to impossible to provide in the short amount of time we have to get the house ready and would drive our prices higher, and again has not ever been an issue in the last 3 years. We are an active duty Military family, currently stationed overseas, this is how we are able to keep our home in the town we plan on returning to, so we did have to leave some of our things on the side yards, we made sure they are not in the main outdoor living areas of the home or in the way. I’m sorry this contributed to your disappointment, but I did feel the need to explain. This was very discouraging to read, and I’m sure you felt discouraged during your stay, so I hope your next visit is more enjoyable and you find a better fit with a taller toilet.
