"We enjoyed the ryokan very much for the authenticity of old Japan. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Wearing the yutaka at the property was such a thrill for us. The staff were so friendly, kind and attentive. Thank you for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Such a contrast from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Osaka central. "The hotel was one of our best experiences overall in Japan. The rooms beautiful and so well equipped, the public baths were amazing and relaxing. Everything was perfectly clean and we felt so welcome. The staff was really on another level. From the moment we stepped in to the moment we drove away in the taxi - the hospitality and kindness was unparalleled. I would definitely stay there again if I revisit Nara. "

"I love how accommodating the staff was here. We were nearly an hour late for our dinner but they went above and beyond to serve us anyway. "Very nice corridor with classic music at a low volume. Double entry doors that bring down the outside noise. It has a small entrance space between those doors. Nicely decorated and spacious room. A choice of drinks and other stuff you might need in small vending machines inside the room. AC and heating working well. Ensuite sauna, jet-bath, shower, separate bathroom and sink. Microwave, kettle, different glasses and plates, sets of assorted coffee and tea.. Very clean. The only reason of 4 stars...
