Clean and cosy
Clean and cosy, great location for people using the train. Was easy to eat in, and instructions to use everything and access the room were very clear. Walls are very thin so a lot of noise from the others in the apartment block, opening doors and watching tv.

The location is very good and everything so close by.
The host is very professional and response very good. We have extended our stay and without fuss, we were given a very quick relocation so we won't have to lose valuable times

The second apartment was good
This was the second apartment where I stayed one of two nights. The first one was in the centre of York. In the first apartment the hot water did not work. I called customer service who scheduled a plumber for that evening while we were out. When we came back we found that the problem was not fixed. No communication from the agency and it was too late for us to call since their offices where closed at that point. The following morning I called and luckily we got our apartment changed.
We still spent one day without being able to take a shower and had to move. Nobody followed up on the issue so had I not called the following day we would have kept the place with no hot water. Although the problem was fixed on the second day I would have still expected some form of compensation for the first night, since we had an a place that was below living conditions.

Lovely central apartment
While we were not put in the original apartment that we had booked through booking.com-it was still a nice apartment. Easy walk from the train station. Clean and appropriately furnished. The only downside is that it is very difficult to get past the hanging rail in the bedroom if you are sleeping on the right-hand side of the bed. So you better not need the bathroom in the middle of the night! Otherwise, a pleasant stay.
