"We were highly disappointed. Although we booked through Expedia, we are long time Marriott BonVoy members & this was NOT Marriott quality at all. 1st we got the wrong room. Hours after checking in, I went to front desk & heard a man checking in, last minute with NO RESERVATION & got the room that we were suppose to have!! Really?... 2nd, The hotel had NO TV SVC. Absolutely no TV. After driving from VA, we had very specific plans on how we would end our VERY LONG DAY/NIGHT. Can we survive without TV? Of course, BUT this should be expressed PRIOR to checking in!!!! It was terrible & then found out they lied because they have been having this problem many days before even got there. Woke up in middle of the night _ saw a huge bug crawling out of our room, into the hallway, under the huge gap of room door. Thank God I couldn't see exactly what kind of bug it was in time. That was God because if it were a certain bug, I would have lost my mind....Just not the Marriott standard that I'm used to. "

"The house was amazing. A lot of activities to do in the house, and accessible to fun things to do in the area. Veronica was a terrific host and very reachable if we had any questions. Couldn't recommend more."

"Kind of safe..room smell as they allow dogs in rooms. They claimed to send me to a level with no dogs..not true all levels have dogs smell."

"Communication from the host was great. Pool had quite a bit of duck poop in it and the smell in the area generally is of sewer. The furniture isn't really comfy and supplies are minimal. We also followed the trash pickup instructions and it wasn't picked up one of the days and everyone else's was, so I am not sure why that happened. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this might not be the place as it is an apartment complex with thin walls and floors. You can hear the tenant above. It is about 20-30 minutes from the beach, 45 to Amelia Island, 60 to St. Augustine (cute town), and two hours to Daytona. Downtown Jacksonville is not the place, lots of homeless and drugs. "

"There were many positives about this home—the spacious layout, a great kitchen, and very responsive owners. However, we did run into some cleanliness issues. The pool, showers, and dishes were not as clean as expected, and we ended up washing everything we used from the kitchen cupboards before using it.The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood that is advertised as quiet, which is accurate—but something to be very aware of. We were a group of nine (six adults and three boys, ages 13, 11, and 9). On our first evening, around 7:30–8:00 pm, the kids were swimming in the pool. Later, after we had gone inside with all doors and windows closed, my nephew was using a karaoke machine. We began receiving urgent messages from the owners saying neighbors were complaining. While it felt early in the evening, we understood the need to respect the quiet setting.On Sunday afternoon, while the boys were again playing in the pool, a neighbor yelled at us over the fence. After that, we felt uncomfortable using the outdoor space and ended up keeping the kids inside, which put a damper on the trip.Overall, if you are traveling with children or plan to spend time outside, it’s important to be aware of how strict and sensitive the surrounding neighborhood is. We often felt like we had to be extremely cautious, which affected our ability to fully relax and enjoy the stay."
