"The room had a strong musty smell from the moment I walked in, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the condition of the furniture and facilities was poor: there was a broken chair and the walls were visibly damaged. Overall, the lack of maintenance was evident and negatively affected the experience. On the positive side, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. However, even though the reservation was made for four people, there were only towels provided for three."

"We were highly disappointed. Although we booked through Expedia, we are long time Marriott BonVoy members & this was NOT Marriott quality at all. 1st we got the wrong room. Hours after checking in, I went to front desk & heard a man checking in, last minute with NO RESERVATION & got the room that we were suppose to have!! Really?... 2nd, The hotel had NO TV SVC. Absolutely no TV. After driving from VA, we had very specific plans on how we would end our VERY LONG DAY/NIGHT. Can we survive without TV? Of course, BUT this should be expressed PRIOR to checking in!!!! It was terrible & then found out they lied because they have been having this problem many days before even got there. Woke up in middle of the night _ saw a huge bug crawling out of our room, into the hallway, under the huge gap of room door. Thank God I couldn't see exactly what kind of bug it was in time. That was God because if it were a certain bug, I would have lost my mind....Just not the Marriott standard that I'm used to. "

"There were many positives about this home—the spacious layout, a great kitchen, and very responsive owners. However, we did run into some cleanliness issues. The pool, showers, and dishes were not as clean as expected, and we ended up washing everything we used from the kitchen cupboards before using it.The home is located in a beautiful neighborhood that is advertised as quiet, which is accurate—but something to be very aware of. We were a group of nine (six adults and three boys, ages 13, 11, and 9). On our first evening, around 7:30–8:00 pm, the kids were swimming in the pool. Later, after we had gone inside with all doors and windows closed, my nephew was using a karaoke machine. We began receiving urgent messages from the owners saying neighbors were complaining. While it felt early in the evening, we understood the need to respect the quiet setting.On Sunday afternoon, while the boys were again playing in the pool, a neighbor yelled at us over the fence. After that, we felt uncomfortable using the outdoor space and ended up keeping the kids inside, which put a damper on the trip.Overall, if you are traveling with children or plan to spend time outside, it’s important to be aware of how strict and sensitive the surrounding neighborhood is. We often felt like we had to be extremely cautious, which affected our ability to fully relax and enjoy the stay."

"We had a wonderful much needed family gathering at this beautiful property for my youngest autistic grandson's spring break and birthday celebration. The house and property couldn't have been more perfect, and the communication and consideration of the guest needs from the amazing host Maghen was over and above anything we have experienced at a VRBO property before! Starting with the birthday sign and treats left by Maghen, to the spotless clean house, the extremely comfortable beds to the wonderful outside spaces and the dock. The game room and home gym were used for playing and watching movies, the dock was where you could find my oldest 23-year-old grandson enjoying the nice fishing rods and bait provided by the house along with some great pool lounges and toys. The hammocks were extremely popular on the dock, and the kitchen was used to prepare most meals as we had about everything we needed there. I would be remiss if I did not talk about the sunsets and dolphin watching off the dock in the evenings. We were lucky enough to be there as a family to watch the Artemis lift off from the top of the dock followed by the full pink moon and hundreds of dolphins the last evening we were there. We saw dolphins every night, but the size of the pods under the full moon was breathtaking. Many wonderful experiences and memories were made at this beautiful, comfortable property! We will definitely be back!"
