Stairs are still slippy and steep - bring slippers. A happy holiday, in a house with many happy memories. We will be back as soon as we can. "

"Had to wait at reception for staff to appear! Rang bell 3 times. Knocked on door marked private. Called out. Phoned property, rang in front of me - no one answered. Sent message. Finally someone arrived from one of the hallways but passed us and went into breakfast room with out saying anything. Then came back out to check us in. No apologies. Also we paid for breakfast but next morning my husband was very sick, had been up all night vomiting, so I had breakfast alone and did not get refunded for my husbands breakfast! "
