"It isn’t one of the super flash resorts you can find, with pristine build quality and sanitised customer service, but it is rustic, remote, warm (climate and people) and thoroughly relaxing. "The Fijian people were wonderful! We spent only 3 nights as an add-on to a dive vacation so we snorkeled right off the beach and it was amazing! The reef was very healthy and saw plenty of fish, live soft coral and even a Crown of Thorns starfish. We stayed in the beachfront villa and was very happy with everything, the aircon, outdoor bathroom and the front deck. The only notable discomfort was the sharp tile around the shower. Food in the restaurant was very very good and with plenty of variety. Portions were generous the fresh drinking water was delicious. WIfi was good in most parts of the resort, but I was there to unplug. The stairs leading to the restaurant were a bit challenging when it was raining so wear shoes with good traction. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to escape from the ratrace. "

"This resort is a must if you travel to Fiji. We visited 2 years ago and knew we wanted to return. The staff is our Fiji family. Each individual cottage is so well built and maintained. Manassas and his wife Wati are the original builders and both still stay active at the resort. I encourage travelers to not just stay on the main island, but discover the surrounding islands."
