Hi Susan, Helensburgh shopping district / town is a 4 min drive. It's 3.5 Kilometers away. The cafes, resteraunts in Stanwell park are 3 kilometres away. 2 min drive. Even closer. Also across the road is tumbling waters where they also have a restaurant. It's a la carte and you need to make reservations in advance I'm told. You must of not read the guestbook and driven elsewhere? I wish guests would reach out when they are not sure. Hi Bikram I'm sorry you had some issues. Im somewhat confused why you didn't read the studio instructions. It states on the welcoming document on the bed where you can't possibly miss it to place all used crockery, cutlery, glasses, mugs in the storage container in the cupboard and follow instructions,. On the storage container it also states if you are running low to place the container outside the door and they will be washed and returned asap. There are 8 of everything. No one has run out in whole time we've operated. I just wish you called or texted me so I could explain it and make your stay better. I never want people to have to wash that's why it's designed that way so you can enjoy your weekend without having to do domestic duties. Also if people request I always allow access to the kitchen too. Some people love to cook but 99% are looking to enjoy a private vacation and eat out and enjoy the studio for it's purpose which is a wonderful romantic experience. Second thing you didn't appear to wash up as there was many dirty dishes left strewn around the studio making this whole conversation questionable. I'm somewhat disappointed you must have missed the instructions or felt unsure about reaching out to us. Miscommunication is a sad thing but it happens and I wish you the best on your journeys and I'm truly glad you enjoyed the rest of the studio. It's doing its job for couples and I'm so happy it is working as is intended. 5 Stars to you from me. Hi Alan The floors were wet because the cleaner did a thorough clean. The tiles are very pourus and they don't dry super fast and it's was only a very short time between guests checking out and you checking in. But rest assured the studio was cleaned thoroughly and ready for your stay. Thank you for choosing us for your accommodation needs.
