Longview Lodge is set within minutes to many of the region's attractions, being opposite Tumbling Waters Retreat, it is ideal for those wanting their own space while attending events. The popular Wodi-Wodi track is also at the end of the street. It is also just 3 minutes drive to the famous Bald Hill lookout where you can get breakfast or lunch from the Cafe and watch the seemingly still postcard view and be enamoured by the hang-gliders, or simply the trains snaking their way around the mountainous terrain. The lodge is also 4 minutes drive to the beginning of the Otford entrance to the Royal National Park for the Coast Walk and Figure 8 Pools, 4 minutes to Stanwell Park Beach, or you may wish to drive the Grand Pacific Drive over Sea Cliff Bridge and stop at one of the many oceanfront pubs / restaurants from Clifton to Thirroul. Symbio Wildlife Park is also just 3 minutes up the road. Swimming, surfing, hang gliding, hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, paintball and bushwalking are all accessible within a 5 km radius.
Local shopping is also just a few minutes drive away with Coles at Helensburgh, a local butcher and bakery and bottle shop, as well as a service station. Wollongong is a 20 minute drive via the M1.
There are amazing restaurants and cafes in Helensburgh and Stanwell park for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All just a 5 mins drive from your doorstep.
The Studio features an en suite, Sheridan bedding and bathware, air conditioning, 68” OLED Smart TV with Netflix, Queen size bed, wardrobe with safe. A beautiful leather sofa transforms into a queen size bed for those extra guests. The main window operates with remote control blinds so you can wake up to the gorgeous view without stepping out of bed. A cosy dining table complements the view if you wish to enjoy a candlelit dinner whilst taking in the beautiful colours of dusk descending over the ocean into a twinkling of ships awaiting port. The room also comes with a multi-function microwave featuring air-fry, grill and oven modes, the room also boasts a coffee machine with pods available, teas, instant coffee, cutlery, water and a bar fridge stocked with sparkling mineral water. The studio also has its own separate entry.
As an added bonus you may have the opportunity to be acquainted with "King Cashie", the resident cat. Warning he's very adorable! Cashie is always up for a cuddle or some food but not necessarily in that order. Cashie has a big brown pillow on one of the deck chairs in the Gazebo. Please remember to remove it and place down the charcoal cushions that are provided for your personal use during your stay.
