Perfect stay. The one-bedroom Penthouse is huge, with big balcony. I bet a warm summer night, it’s great to lie down and enjoy the beautiful stars. Reception is nice. Next time I will surely book for a longer stay and enjoy the beach and the on-site restaurant.

Accommodation satisfactory but marred by the fact the lift was out of service for several days due to weather induced breakdown.Seemed no urgency to fix it As an 85 year old it was quite a problem for me The attached restaurant and dumpling bar offer. Very ordinary fare. .Hardly pub food standard and quite expensive considering what was delivered

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and relaxing stays by the sea, and we are sorry to hear your time at Headlands did not live up to these standards. Unfortunately the severity of the weather meant there were significant delays in our Lift Technician reaching us on site during your stay. These extenuating circumstances were the result of unprecedented weather event, not due to a lack of urgency on our behalf. We encourage any guest having issues to chat to our team whilst onsite, as we would have been happy to move you to a ground floor room to maximise the comfort of your stay. Regardless, we deeply apologise for the inconvenience caused, and miscommunication on our behalf.It is also a shame to hear your dining experience wasn’t up to your expectations, particularly as you tried our Dumpling Bar – it is always such a fan favourite! Again, we implore our guests to reach out to staff if there are any issues whatsoever whilst dining, so we can swiftly rectify the situation and provide alternative options if the need arises. Thanks again for taking the time to leave us constructive feedback – we really do appreciate you taking the time to reach out.

Headlands is in a fabulous location on 2 beaches. There’s a lovely RSL, liquor store and shops down the road. Headlands restaurant offers good food and reasonably priced Accommodation is clean, modern, quiet Wonderful and would definitely stay again

Overall lovely stay and spot
We stayed in an ocean view studio which was lovely. Room had all the comforts including a great comfy bed. The room service was very slow. Not getting our room cleaned/made-up until 3pm. Definitely more service personnel needed for the huge hotel. Otherwise highly recommend.

The property is nestled between the mountain and the sea, meaning the views were spectacular. Our room was clean and serviced daily if we wanted it to be; the pool and pool area were also very clean, and the yummy dining options on the premises meant that all meals could be easily taken care of, allowing us to rest and recover after two very crazy busy years. It was also easy to walk to Thirroul along the beach to enjoy the small town charm, the quaint shops, the cute houses, and the delicious burgers at The Old South - 10/10 for the walk and the views <3 Thank you for a lovely stay!

Our hotel room for the night was terrible.. We knew it was windy but we were kept awake and up all night with an extremely loud whistling noise thru our room .. It was horrendous.. no sleep at all.. On checking out we mentioned it to receptionist who apparently wasn’t that interested??

If book from hotel directly have more offer, they are free breakfast, Sparkling Wine , Chocolate and Kate check out as same price. So I’m unhappy for this price booking.

We have stayed here a few times, but this time was disappointing. Very helpful on check in when we were delayed, apartment super clean and comfy and location amazing. However unfortunately lady reception was not helpful and very disinterested, to be honest she could care less just when we advised that we had been stuck in the lift and then a whole group of guests trying to check out became stuck in fire escape and luckily we were able to leave via carpark when another guest trying to use lift that wasn’t working opened the fire escape door to carpark when they also tried to use fire escape. Honestly she could care less about a potentially dangerous situation, no apology no attempt to get it sorted. Then the restaurant at hotel we waited an hour for some toast, a coffee, side of bacon and a breakfast burger. We ordered just after 10 and received some very sad looking food and cold toast no butter or anything and coffee just after 11
