"The room was clean and comfortable. Loved having the little love seat couch. My husband and I could both sit on it and work on our computers at the same time. Would have been nice to have a clock that works, it went off at midnight, and the only way I could get it shut off, was unplugging it. The lady and gentleman, that was behind the desk were so nice."

"House was perfect for fisherman. Not a scenic area, farm implement heaven is more like it but it is functional. House was clean, stove and grill worked fine no oven. Definitely would consider for future trips."

"Checkin was a breeze and the house was as cute as a button tucked away on a quiet little lake! We had a short stay but enjoyed every minute of it in the house. The attention to little details around every corner was heartwarming and made the house feel so welcoming from the moment we stepped in. We're looking forward to coming back for another stay soon!"

"I loved staying at this cabin! Everything was absolutely perfect, ambience, cleanly, had everything I could need and more! The view of the pond during morning coffee and the hot tub with the sunset set the bar high. The bed was super comfy and overall very cozy cabin. Located close to Sullivan and within 20ish mins to the lake. I went to Wolf beach and had a great time! I will be back. Rose was wonderful as well!"

"With all the great reviews, I was expecting it to be immaculate and well maintained. That was not my experience. It was very comfortable and relatively clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Full disclosure, my opinion could be slightly skewed because, for some reason, I thought the place was much closer to Effingham - but it was 45 minutes away adding an extra hour and a half to my trip. But that is NOT the hotel’s fault - I just didn’t check all the details closely enough on Expedia. But still, it was a solid 4."
