The Lawn Guest House had everything I needed for my one night stay and I felt so welcome and comfortable here!"

"Joe the Manager provided great service to us. Rugs could have used a shampooing. Kitchen walls could have used repainting as there were splatter stains from prior use. Communal kitchen for free breakfast was on your own to cook or make. Bread for toast; butter; jam; milk; cereal; apple juice; orange juice; bacon and eggs. Kitchen dishes and cookware provided. Communal sitting area for eating or resting to watch TV; listen to music or read. Change of towels on request and no maid...

"We were in apt downstairs which was difficult to manage with heavy luggage. When we arrived the person at the reception kindly took our cases down for us. We were also able to visit with friends in the dining area. The hotel is close to Paddington and to various small shops and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay."

"Last minute stay after train strike meant we couldn't get home. Friendly place, clean and modern. Room with no windows but not a problem. 10 minute walk from Victoria. Expedia charged quite a bit more than than the hotel would have which is pretty annoying."

"Food was excellent , reasonably priced and delectable. I have Celiac disease and asked the staff about dinner options. The Hosts immediately understood my concerns, and made suggestions that would keep me safe. They also understand the cross contamination issues. They didn't have a gluten-free menu per se, but were able to offer 4 entres that were suitable. I had the Sweet Potato and Coconut Curry dish. Very satisfying. "

Tesco express right across street for easy food and kitchen was full with cooking etc. Would have liked a socket to charge my phone near to the nightstand. Only real feedback. "
