"As soon as I checked in and entered my room, I could smell something musty. Making it worse, I had reserved a king and instead there were two queens. I went to the front desk and asked for a different room. He told me they were all sold out. I told him I’m not staying in a room with a musty smell. Told him I was going to ask hotels.com for a refund, he agreed that was warranted, and then I left and went somewhere else. Unfortunately, hotels.com and Candlewood are making the process unnecessarily complicated just to get my refund. "

"Room had awesome floor plan, spacious, comfortable and felt like a one bdrm apartment. Kitchen well stocked with basic flatware and utensils. It seemed clean, but because the room and everything in was kinda dated it was hard to tell. Room just felt worn and tired, giving impression that it wasn't super duper clean, yet I found nothing disgusting in the room. Bed & pillows Excellent! Next time I'm in the area I'll probably check out some other hotels, I would go back here but won't be my first choice. Staff was nice, just overall worn and a little dated. Price was excellent so clearly they know where they stand in the market. "
