"The apartment is located on the last floor of a building, thus being a duplex (two floors inside with stairs) apartment. Kitchen and dining area are upstairs, where the air gets warmer and you feel less comfortable. "We had an overall lovely stay. The location is close to Lucerne, but car/bus not walking distance. Very spacious house, with 5.5 bedrooms (the 0.5 is one room with a bunk bed is attached to another one of the rooms) that could easily sleep 11 people - so it was very comfortable for our group of 6. "Highly recommended to anyone who loves to get out in the mountains. Networks of beautifully signposted Swiss footpaths pass the front door. The scenery is dramatic - limestone cliffs creating steep sided gorges - and makes for some challenging mountain biking! Gabriele was a generous host and her apartment made a cosy and extremely comfortable base for exploring. We were grateful for the warm log stove on the cool October nights."
