Hotel was beautiful, clean and a terrific location. Staff were great giving our family of 4 (2 young kids) water when we arrived earlier in the morning and storing our bags for the day. We had a double room 28 and 29 that connected which was plenty of space. AC units worked great. Breakfast was very good and free for the kids. Highly recommend!

Very intimate hotel with a lot of history & charm. We were immediately impressed with the condition of the hotel and it's location right across the street from the Lake Lucerne. We fell in love with the futon bed, pillows and comforters! We never slept better! It's close to the city center and the side of town we were on was so romantic. Service was excellent and made us feel like friends. Definitely want to stay here again!

Perfect location! Right on the lake across from a park. Walking distance to everything! But far enough away to be removed from the crowd! Old building seems like they turned the old closet into the bathroom because it used to be shared at the end of the hall. But what would you expect from an old building in Switzerland? If you’re looking for a Marriott probably shouldn’t go to a 500 year old town in Switzerland. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was amazing and we felt well accommodated while we were in Lucerne. The staff was great! The location was not right In the middle of the town but walkable. The hotel elevator was extremely small so two people with luggage was almost impossible to make 1 trip. Bathrooms could use updating.

Beautiful hotel across the street from a cute park. Room was quite small, but so cute and great views of the lake! Bus stopped right next to the hotel which was so convenient! Breakfast was yummy just wish there were some protein options like eggs or something a little more filling.

Very nice location situated close to the old town, shopping area, main train station and very close to a bus stop (Europe stop of 6 and 8 bus, if youre too tired to walk) which give you a balance being away from the hussle and bussle of the commerical area but not too quiet and away from your necessities as well as having a very nice view of the the Pilatus mountain and Lucerne Lake from our balcony. Staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful. Hotel gave us our visitor pass that gives us free bus ride within Lucerne. We opted to do the breakfast buffet (lots of cheese and delicious waffles) which save us money too!
