"Cleanliness in the apartment was top notch but the entrance from the door through the staircase was not pleasant. The stairs should be rugged atleast, to give it good first impression.
The shower wasn't working or we couldn't get through with turning it on, so we had to be fetching water from kitchen each time we wanted to shower.
We also couldn't access the wifi. The password was there but we didn't know what network to connect to as there were many on the drop down and we kept trying the...
"Beware, it may be a budget price, but don't expect cleanliness. The sink in our bathroom did not drain and there were signs of construction (fine white drywall powder) in a corner of the room where some work was being done. In addition there was a loose plastic board just sitting on a shelf that could have fallen and caused safety hazard. We requested to switch rooms but apparently no other rooms available. Otherwise, amenities like food/drinks seemed fine, but don't have high expectations here."

However, this hotel is abysmal. We arrived just as 2 busloads of French tourists were checking in. The poor receptionist was run off her feet, but stopped what she was doing to help us. "The staff at the Belhaven were friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were great. Very nice neighborhood, walking to shopping and dining. Our room was on the lower level and needed a refresh. It was not dirty at all. Just didn’t look like the picture and I realize we needed more room as a family of 4. Beds were ok. Again staff and location were great we just didn’t like being in the basement"
"The hotel isn't at the airport it's about 6 miles from the airport.It is situated right behind ikea at Braehead.I should have taken more note of the address.The hotel staff were pleasant.The lift was broken we arrived, but it was fixed the next day.It spoiled our stay as we were to meet people arriving at Glasgow airport.The good thing about this hotel is the car parking is free."

"Large group of us stayed here for a friend’s stag do and we all had a brilliant time. The villa was nice with plenty of room for everyone, the beds were comfortable, the garden was massive and the hot tub was amazing. The location was also spot on with loads of places to eat and drink in the town centre. There was also the option of going into Glasgow as the train station was only a short walk from the villa. Chris and Frances were excellent hosts and were always around if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this villa to family and friends"
