Kevin was an amazing host and beautiful place close to everything!

Kevin was very thoughtful and checked on us throughout our stay as well as before and after. The place is more beautiful than the photos and was clean! It is in an amazing location right by the downtown area. Check in and check out was easy, no complaints! Will have to come back!

Windsor perfection

Our recent VACAY in Windsor could not have Been in a better location than this! It is even better than shown in the photos. The jewel is a perfect outdoor area to relax in day or night. Kevin is gracious and easy to communicate with. The unit is tastefully decorated and quite comfortable. Can’t wait to reach return

While the location was convenient; walking distance to cafes and restaurants, everything else about the property was pretty bad. Dishwasher broken, the furnace has no cover and exposed wiring, the place was so dirty, literally disgusting. Broken walls, broken glass, second shower didn't work, hot water in on suit bath didn't work, the air vents were literally black for how dirty it was. No privacy cover on the front window exposed to the main street right across the street from a club. And, this DOES NOT sleep 8. It's 6 only. There are air mattresses provided but you cannot count that as 8, if you could, then, because you can put an air mattress anywhere, it could sleep 20. Just an overall bad place.

Lovely little place. Especially enjoyed the deck out back. Tough getting in and out on that tiny, steep stair in the back, and parking was kind of a monster. Made it, but unfortunately that was the biggest memory of the stay for my kids - the stairs.

Let me start with the good. It was a really nice location with a responsive host. There was a gas fire pit on the deck that was out of gas and the host had a full tank dropped off within an hour of request. The same deck you could tell was recently rebuilt, which was nice, but the pile of debris, scrap wood and nails was all left out along the wall. The rest of the place looked unfinished. Back screen door from the deck that was main entrance had no handle and no cylinder to make it close on its own. Half of the inside trim around rear door was gone and conduit hanging out. Hunk of shower tile around shower door was gone. One ceiling air vent was half dangling and the other completely gone that I later noticed in the closet. Only the cold faucet handle worked in master bath. Kitchen faucet was loose. Overall the place looked unfinished. Not a bad place, but fix what needs to be fixed before renting it again. It also needs some pots and pans.

It all looks great in pictures, but terrible upkeep of the place. The shower stalls are broken, toilets don’t run properly. The doors don’t close properly. Patio was full of junk and you could not enjoy it fully as there were large pieces of junk and trash and bricks lying around. Worst of all you can’t even enter from front door because lock doesn’t work properly, have to go all the way around the street to the back entrance, and even then the screen door was broken. Overall, for how much the owner is charging per night, he can definitely afford to fix the place up a little bit. There were holes in the wall in the master bedroom. There’s no curtains in the living room and the windows are quite big so the sun heats up the place quite fast. Additionally at night, there is no privacy as there is a massive club right across the street and everyone can see inside the living room. Pictures don’t tell the whole story. The location was great as its close to restos and cafe’s.

Windsor Little Italy

While the general furniture/layout of the apartment matched the description, the overall condition of the apartment was not great.Positives: washer and dryer, overall clean space, generally quiet, and decent kitchen. There was space for the 4 of us to relax. Negatives: The owner did not send check in instructions until the day of check in and when he sent, he pushed back check in from 2 pm (in the listing) to 4 pm; I did ask if we can check in earlier if we arrived earlier and he agreed to 3 pm (we ended up arriving after 4 pm). The initial impressions were poor: extremely steep exterior metal back stairs, construction debris around stairs and on the deck, no handle on the storm door, inside there is damage to various walls and door frames, sink drips in master bathroom and little to no hot water from that sink due to faucet, under cabinet lights do not work in the kitchen. We could not find sheets for the twin beds and no sheets were on those beds. No towels/washcloths were out so we had to find those in the laundry closest in the hall bathroom. The neighborhood itself seems to be going through a transition and the restaurant in the pictures below the apartment is no longer there. It appears a lounge is being built and there was construction on Saturday afternoon/evening.
