"It was clean, comfortable, the AC worked great and the staff was great! This is an older motel and needs renovation. Having said that, you must remember that you are in one of the most remote places in the US with Mexico about 5 miles from you (as the crow flies). We were out of the room and exploring most of the time. I was concerned about noise from the highway, but we were there mid-week and had no issue. The motel offers a discounted breakfast buffet at the diner next door- which we didn't use."

"My husband and I went for a long weekend and chose this property for our time there. It is very convenient to big Bend national Park. It was immaculately clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who is going to be in the area and anybody who is intending to do some hiking in big bend and does not want to camp in the park. When we go back to Big Bend, we will make this the location we stay from now on."

"Everything was really clean and comfortable. The only suggestion is a black out curtain in the bedroom so car headlights don’t light up the room at night. Also a curtain over the window above the couch so the sun doesn’t reflect in the TV making it impossible to watch from the couch until the sun goes down."

"Clean trailer and very convenient for our adventures to Big Bend national park. They even provided firewood if you wanted to build a fire. Communications with Crystal were clear and quick."

"We enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and exactly as the pictures showed. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Admittedly when i booked i thought it would be closer to Big Bend but we didn't mind the drive. I appreciated the driving instructions because we would have found the home without them. The night sky was amazing as were the sunsets. I loved the extra seating along the trail also. Very nice touches throughout the home and property. If you rent this property i would highly recommend not driving a car, the last 3 miles to the home are not paved. We were prepared with our truck so it was a non-issue. You will not be disappointed staying in this property. If you want to disconnect and enjoy nature... this is the place for you. "
