"Have made numerous visits to Big Bend and stayed at this property each time. It has been greatly improved and updated. Would like to see the clothes hooks lowered to a height that can easily be reached."

"Advertising on Expedia was deceiving. Room was in poor condition. A clothes pin was used to hold drapes closed. There was no shade on the window. Could not get WiFi to work. The flooring was weak. If you were heavy could have fallen through. No coffee available. We should have asked for a refund but hostess was nice and said we would have to contact Expedia for concerns"

"Nice place. The washboard road coming to and from the ranch was a pain!! Wonderfully quiet outside. Cabin 58 was great with a water dispenser and coffee maker. Cabin 43 had neither. "

"Nothing fancy, but a homey and comfortable place for a single person or couple to spend a night or two. Comfortable bed, kitchen with much-appreciated coffee makings and some cooking supplies included. Very close to the entrance to Big Bend National Park. RV park location was quiet and close to a few places to eat, buy groceries or fill up on (very expensive) gas."

"Excellent parking, consistent wifi, nice porch, spacious interior, secure. Close to town and parks. Bath clean and working well. Good number of trash cans. Bed and towels good quality. Kitchen has very basic prep stuff. Freezer needs defrosting and coffee maker should be thoroughly cleaned. Harsh light bulbs in kitchen. Shelving under bath sink needs a hammer. Rug in main area needs cleaning. "

"We had a truly excellent stay with Mark and Michelle! The amenities, location, and space were all clean and exactly as described, perfect for visiting Big Bend National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, starry sky, and wildlife sightings and slept comfortably every night.Mark and Michelle greeted us upon arrival and showed so much hospitality throughout our stay that we felt like family. They were extremely helpful and kind, frequently offering great recommendations for our time in West Texas, including tips for visiting Boquillas while in Big Bend. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them on their porch in the evenings, but always felt that we had enough privacy when we wanted it. All told, I highly recommend staying with Mark and Michelle! You would be hard pressed to find better hosts anywhere. "
