"John is the GM, we talked w him for a while up front. Super nice & very knowledgable of the Terlingua. My wife & I stayed in a double room. Bathroom, sink, 2 beds, tv. We didn't ever turn the TV on while we were there.
We loved our stay here. The location is perfect. John used a term, something to the effect of "Vintage hotel at affordable pricing" - that's exactly what it is. If you need a place to stay that won't break your bank, yet provide everything needed, Chisos is a wonderful place to stay! "
"We had a wonderful stay here in Terlingua. We came for the stargazing and were not disappointed! The skies are very dark, Bortle-1. The nighttime pic on our review is of the Summer Milky Way, taken on only a phone looking south from the tall side of the house. The house is surrounded by a flat gravel yard so we had a safe place to set up our telescope. Even though we brought a telescope we had the most enjoyment from sitting in lounge chairs using regular binoculars to gaze at Sagittarius, Scorpius, sparkly star clusters and the Milky Way. The house is beautiful, sleek and modern with fantastic views, and the area is very quiet with perfect privacy. There are small bushy flowering plants around the patio that brought in many tiny butterflies, and the house is surrounded by an Ocotillo forest that must look stunning when in bloom. We’ll definitely be back!"
"Crystal's RV was a perfect place to stay to visit Big Bend National Park. The grocery store across the street is really well stocked and the RV had everything we needed. I recommend arriving before sundown because it was hard to find the RV in the dark."

"It’s a dark sky National Park, so there’s very little lights and we could not find the RV park but the owners directed us and sat out by the road with their vehicle lights on so we could find them! They went above and beyond!! Highly recommend. "

"Great location. Very close to the western entrance to BIBE. I stayed at an electric campsite with no water. There’s a men’s and women’s bathroom with a single shower in each. However, you cannot flush the toilet or brush your teeth without adding a quarter to the shower? And if the quarter just returns, you get no water. Tried to explain to housekeeping but was a miscommunication. The diner is awesome with very friendly staff and great food! Will bring my own shower next time I stay. "
