A contemporary 2nd floor apartment located in the popular market town of Windermere. This characterful property offers envious central living and is only moments away from all the local bars, restaurants and cafes that Windermere has to offer.

The property boasts walks directly from the doorstep and with on street permit style parking your vehicle need not move throughout your stay (although other areas of the Lake District are easily accessible by public transport and personal cars)

Could have been amazing

First impressions were very good, perfect location in the centre of Windermere and an airy apartment. Unfortunately we soon discovered that the maintenance on this property wasn't up to standard. The dishwasher didn't work, the drinks fridge was faulty, the ensuite shower could only deliver boiling hot or freezing cold water, which was very dangerous indeed.. The sink in the ensuite wasn't fixed securely and eventually water started to leak out onto the floor. Other noticeable maintenance issues of less importance but we felt should be mentioned are, a damaged TV and broken IPad, hooks not fixed to the wall in one of the bedrooms. This apartment is not cheap and we would have expected a better maintenance standard for this charge.
Stayed 3 nights in Oct 2020
