Had just one night’s stay at this hotel and wished we’d organised to stay a little longer. Very well situated for the high street and cathedral. Food was amazing- we had breakfast included and opted to have dinner there too. Ate dinner outside as it was such a lovely evening. Could not fault.

Amazing! The room was very classy with a Japanese twist. I ate in the restaurant downstairs and had the 5 course tasting menu with paired Sake. Wow! So good thank you guys! Will be back!

Easy walking distance to town - about five minutes' walk. Room was clean. Only negative with the room was that aircon cannot be changed below 16 degrees and didn't make the room cool which made for a hot night's sleep as it was summer during my visit.

The room was well proportioned and it has a lift, Yeah! So many places in England you have to try dragging 20kg bags upstairs. The food was really good which surprised ups as the menus did not look exciting but was well cooked and very tasty
