"Barely an ocean view & window coverings didn't block the lights around hotel hallway. Fire pits didn't work. Looked like staff left before 6pm close as I couldn't enter front office after 5pm"

"First stay in a container. Thought layout was well done and well equiped micro kitchen. The bath with ample shower was a pleasant surprise for a small overall space. Perfect for two and three blocks from shoreline. Two dedicated parking pads. Easy driving to and from unit if you use backroad Dow and not the main US 421 Carolina Beach Rd if you wish to avoid the usual traffic. Carolina Beach State Park has nice walking trails and no entrance fees. Fees for camping and boat ramp. The NC aquarium is closed for renovation. The host was immediate with replies and we recommend a stay for you. KB"

"Yes, parking is great even for my jacked up 2500 truck. Private access to the beach and a wash down area before getting off the private walk way. Great pool and clean. Best view of the beach. Clean and everything you need so it’s not stressful. The owner put a lot of thought into making it stress free and comfortable. The owner is really nice and helpful. I’ll most definitely be coming back here again. Did I mention the peace and quiet! The sound of the ocean and the wind! "
