This hotel was nothing like I thought it would be. The room smelled awful, the pool was green. We slept on top of the sheets because the whole place was just disgusting. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
1 nights stay was more than enough, the rooms need serious updating and the pool needs filling in rather than being the muddy colour water it has in it,

Television in the first room would not pick up the cable channels. We were given another room and all was well. The pool was not open, which was disappointing. Over all a good place to stay. Very friendly staff.
My husband and I are by no means high maintenance, we usual camp out when we travel but decided this time to get a hotel. We were in the area for an event at the Kentucky Horse Park and all the hotels near the park were already booked. I didn't expect much from this Days Inn because of the price and previous reviews but even with low standards going in we were disappointed. The staff was friendly enough but the room smelled very bad and was not clean or comfortable. We reserved a two night stay but ended up driving home instead of staying the second night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Five miles north on I-75 there are several hotels to choose from, although I can't say if they are any nicer.
Dirty, musty rooms. Cigarette burns in the blankets of a non-smoking room. Stale breakfast. the maid didn't show up to work one day and the managerial staff didn't even bother to call a replacement to clean the room. If you're just passing through stay at a hotel in Dry Ridge. Avoid this like the plague!
My family and I stayed here as it was the closest hotel we could find that had rooms available for race weekend. I was expecting more that what we got. The front desk people were super nice, even after we woke them after midnightfor another key (left original in room). Although we didnt spend much time at the hotel, there was a few things that I thought could've been better. The room was dirty and way outdated. The bathtub had hair in it, as did a couple of the towels. The pool was nice and was clean; however, from what I understand the pool cleaner lives theres and he was a bit creepy. Overall I guess it was alright for the amount of time we were actually there. Most of our time was spent at the race track. About 5 miles down the road there is quiet a few of restaurants and shops (nothing like it was several yrs ago though).

Clean but a little tired
This was a pit stop on our way to Florida. Conveniently located right off the freeway with a gas station and little diner sharing the same parking lot. The hotel staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was clean, the carpet and bathroom were a little on the tired side, but the bed was fantastic - nice firm mattress. Complimentary continental breakfast (had great coffee) in the morning. Was very reasonably priced.
No restaurant within five miles. Mice droppings in bathrooms of two rooms we visited.

Perfect for what we needed
My friend and I were visiting Williamstown Jr/Sr Highschool for a work event. We needed a place that was close by. The Days Inn was definitely very convenient in that regard. There weren't a ton of food options around, but that was to be expected, I guess. The night clerk was very pleasant and helpful when we arrived at 11pm. When we got to the room, we found it clean and neat. There didn't seem to be too many people staying there and therefore, we had peace and quiet. The breakfast was bare bones - white toast, pastries, milk, frosted flakes and raisin bran. We made English muffins with peanut butter and bananas. They also had apples. The two gentleman who worked up front were very nice. No complaints from me!

Recommended, But....
...They said I'd requested a smoking room when I asked for a non-smoking room; broken light fixture in room--not a safety hazard, just looked tacky; it's off the beaten path and is a little hard to find, especially if you're coming in at night and you've never been there before. However, they did finally give me a clean, comfortable non-smoking room; the rates were decent; it's near a gas station; and they do have a free continental breakfast in the morning.
DO NOT stay here! No direct route to KY Speedway, and it was the dirtiest room I'm ever stayed in. There were dead bugs & spiders on the floor & a live bug in my bed!

quick stop
Overall a fairly good hotel. Pool was great for the kids. Dogs are charged $10 per night extra. One of our rooms had water damage but the staff quickly gave them another room. The breakfast was good to hold us over while we drove down the road and found a nice place for breakfast.
The Hotel was a good hotel. The Staff was very nice.We stayed for the race, so we didn't spend to much time in the room, but when we did stay in the room it served it's purpose.

Needs minor improvements.
The staff was great! The room was clean but the old carpet smelled. We forgot to request non smoking so maybe that was part of the problem. I felt safe there even though it is just off the interstate.
For the price you can't beat it. We just used a lot of air freshner.
We stayed for one night. We came in late at night. There was no place to get food. We drove 5 min down the road and there was food places everywhere. Well...We should have stayed there in Dry Ridge. Duh! The room was a smoking room. I asked for a non. it was really really strong smell of smoke. We had to buy a candle and spray. And it had an access panel that was off the wall. So if ya just need a place to crash that is cheap...I guess this could be your place.
Upon arrival waited for 15 minutes or better before ever seeing a clerk. It appeared as no one was working there. Entering the room was disappointing as there was pile of what appeared to be saw dust on two different places on the floor. My guess is termites. There was a dead roach on the bathroom floor. Simply wasn't please at all. Upkeep on the outside was terrible. There is nothing at all I can say pleasant about this hotel.
