"The Virginia Highlands hospitality is evident in every employee at this property. From the moment we checked in to checking out the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about their community. We were immediately pointed in the right direction for good food, beer and music. The Breakfast was on par with the Hampton Inn Brand and the Breakfast room was immaculate. Hot tub was hot and our room was quiet. My only comment and this applies to many hotels; guests should be informed on booking that there may be either on-going re-modeling, in this case the fitness room was piled with furniture and much of the parking was blocked by shipping containers, we also find many hotels have contract workers living in the hotel, which is fine, but it is different than the traveler experience. I would stay here again, just to be around such warm and welcoming staff."
