"Clean easy and convenient. Tried to get breakfast but it was too depleted and not being restocked by 8am. Walked down the hill for Waffle House instead."
"Directions given to this property was perfect. Located just off the interstate and easy to find. Location was easily accessible to Mt. Airy. Very quiet area and the hot tub was a great addition to the cabin. Prayerfully will make a return trip at later time. Visited a local church, Amazing Grace Baptist church which was wonderful! No complaints at all."
"Clean room, relatively quiet property. Some protein choices at breakfast would have been nice. And real half and half for coffee instead of the fake chemical stuff"
"Beautiful view of the river, well maintained property. Host was extremely responsive. One thing to note is that the only coffeemaker in the house is a single cup Keurig. Also, the river is not easily accessible. You have to jump down a bank, then wade through mud. We were able to easily access the river by going to the left of the property. Things we enjoyed while in the area:Matthew’s Living History Farm Museum Biking the New River trail in FriesCreek Bottom Brewery Floating from the upstream boat launch to house Powerhouse FallsGalax Smokehouse"
"Rental space was great for the occasion I wish we could have stayed to whole week! Close to town and lost of great restaurants included a gem of a breakfast joint within walking distance. Only downside side was the parking down at the municipal building. If that’s get sorted out will definitely stay again."
"A treehouse on a farm in the mountains! This place is beautiful, peaceful, and absolutely dreamy. We had the best time! It was wonderful to meet the new owners and hear their story. I love how they honor the original owner’s vision and legacy. Everywhere you look inside and outside the treehouse is a beautiful view. We enjoyed hiking around the property and visiting the chickens and beehives. The fresh eggs and honey sample was an unexpected treat! We decided to drive an hour to go whitewater rafting with High Mountain Expeditions and horseback riding with Dutch Creek Trails and had a blast! Even the drive there was beautiful. We also enjoyed hiking at nearby waterfalls. The treehouse itself is adorable, cozy, and has everything you could possibly need. The details in the design were obviously crafted with love. This place really is so special. We can’t wait to come back and meet the new farm animals!"
