Beautiful

Great place to go for one or two to relax and enjoy. Or have the family up for a bbq. The hosts are amazing! The location is perfect for a weekend to enjoy just who your with and have fun. You can play games or relax in the hot tub!!

Perfect escape atop a mountain. The hot tub is an added bonus! Take the hike up to the slice of heaven. It is worth it!Cute place! Easy to communicate with the owners. Very clean.

Log Cabin

Enjoyed staying in the beautifully decorated log cabin. I was up in the area for work and also hiking at Stone Mountain so it was very convenient.!

Great weekend getaway

Such a cozy little cabin for a weekend getaway! Loved the hot tub and the short hike to the overlook that was breathtaking! The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making Smores!

Charming cabin with great hosts in beautiful location

My wife and I stayed here when we visited Stone Mountain State Park in April 2025. The cabin was lovely and the hosts were super friendly and helpful! There's a lot of cool stuff you can do and see without ever leaving the property, if you're so inclined. For example, there's a lookout you tweet

Awesome cabin experience with hot tub

Had a wonderful cabin experience in the middle of the mountains of North Carolina. Marsha and Greg were outstanding on providing everything that you need in the cabin. Great cabin experience as well as with a hot tub available, to make it a very relaxing weekend to get away and enjoy just time together as husband and wife. Thanks again for a great experience. Looking forward to possibly staying again soon.

Perfect Little Getaway with Stunning Views

Amazing Cabin with Breathtaking Views!We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin! The hosts were fantastic, and the cabin had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring, and the tower lookout offered truly breathtaking views – the pictures don't even do them justice! Our 5-year-old son had a blast, and our dog loved having space to run around. We can't wait to come back and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Peaceful, get away from the go go go.

We had a wonderful time getting away from the go go go of everyday life. We brought our dogs ( Lab who had a a birthday while we were there and and spring spaniel) and the dogs had plenty of you. We enjoyed the hot tub, the deck and the hikes nearby. Not too far from Elkin and we went to several wineries. I would recommend this location to others for the ease of booking, great communication with owners, ideal location to be away, space to roam, not too far from hikes, restaurants ( Elkin) and wineries.

What a hidden gem

My mother and I were overly impressed by the location in the tidiness of the cabin we stayed in. The pictures did not do it justice because it is breathtaking up there. The hot tub was a bonus amenity that we enjoyed a couple of days. My two dogs loved having the run of the land and got some great exercise in. We definitely will be returning hopefully this time next year. Also the host were incredibly thoughtful and friendly, and we can’t express how happy we were to be able to spend a long weekend at their property.

Perfect weekend

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary weekend here, and the cabin was everything we hoped for. Very secluded and private, with all the amenities needed on site. We took full advantage of the gun range, the hot tub, and the nature surrounding the cabin. The owners are extremely hospitable and very accommodating. We hope to come back someday.

Birthday getaway

Excellent last minute getaway! Then cabin was impeccable and the porch divine! The hosts were not only hospitable but so gracious and down to earth. A definite highlight for my birthday getaway and close to several points of interest for day trips. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a quiet anniversary getaway. It was so nice! Cabin was very clean. Small and cozy, but plenty of room for 2 people. We enjoyed the fall weather just walking around the property and driving the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway. Perfect weekend trip!

Great romantic getaway

The property was so cute and everything was so clean! The grounds and the views were breathtaking. We did do the hike up to the top of the hill to enjoy the lookout. It was a little steeper and longer than we anticipated but we'll worth it. What a great little slice of heaven. Hotub was perfect temperature and being able to hangout in the silence of the night was amazing. Would definitely do this again!

Perfect get-away spot

The cabin was better than described. Both of the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed hiking around the property, enjoyed shooting and soaking in the hot tub. The hosts were communicative and hospitable without being intrusive. I'd give it 10 stars if I could! We're already looking for another weekend when we can return!

Love this place

Cozy with plenty to do outside! My daughter loved all the outdoor play. The hike to the tower was totally worth it. Also the small shooting range was a plus. The only thing to be aware is Verizon has no service there, but it wasn’t a problem because they had WiFi to message out. Convenient to Stone Mountain. Would totally be back

A Little piece of GOD'S creation.

The check in was timely, the cabin was very nice, well equipped and spotlessly clean. There was everything there to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed walking to the tower and it was both breath taking on the way up and the view from the tower. Our fur buddies enjoyed romping in the woods. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit and had an overall wonderful time. Greg and Marsha were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating. We definitly will go again and would recommend it to anyone that wants to get away and enjoy nature and all that GOD has created. Thank you again Greg and Marsha.

Awesome place!

A beautiful location, awesome setup and great, responsive hosts. The cabin was exceptionally clean. All you need to bring is food and you would never have to leave. There is a commercial district about 20-25 minutes of scenic driving away for anything you could possibly need. They have wifi with a television setup if you would happen to want that, but there is plenty of outdoor activities to never have to stay inside. At&t had 2-3 bars of service, Verizon none. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area! minute

Tranquil and Serene

Property as described. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Hot tub ++++. Property owners were nearby, but never bothered us. Fast response from owners when messaged. They even offered to grab us dinner one night from town. The driveway up was an experience the first time up it. Mattress was a little soft per our liking, but you cannot please everyone with that. We had a wonderful time.

Awesome!

We loved this VRBO!!! Darling cabin! Owners near by, as another review stated, but didn't affect our privacy at all! The hot tub was perfectly clean. The entire cabin was perfectly clean. We enjoyed the bed by the fireplace. It is on wheels, so you can adjust so both sides can be accessed. Everything was so comfortable. If you do not prefer vintage towels and bath cloths, bring your own. We loved them. There are plenty of towels, including beach towels for the hot tub. The owners were super friendly. The hike to the "tower" is worth the effort of the steep hill. Unfortunately, there was a burn ban in the county, so we couldn't enjoy the fire pit at the cabin or the one at the top of the hill. But there was PLENTY of fire wood, if you get to enjoy it. We would love to come back when in the area again. Thanks again, Greg & Marsha!

Beautiful nature get away

1 negative. If you are driving a rear wheel 4 cylinder car. The driveway is steep and difficult. I made it each time but my car did not like it lol. Mountains a me problem. That being said everything about this property was perfect. Close to state park, vineyards. Lots to explore in the woods on property. Friendly hosts. Fire pit beautifully laid out with firewood plenty of seating , fire pokers etc. Hosts extremely helpful even brought out lighter at 930 at night ! Beautiful back porch with hot tub did not use. Beautiful lighting. I side hear and air was adequate . Quality TV with Netflix Hulu for nighttime viewing . Kitchen equipped with everything needed to cook make coffee, tea etc. beds comfy couch extremely comfy. Plenty of towels blankets pillows shower stuff shampoos soaps etc. will absoloutley come back with my SUV ! Thanks so much for a memorable girl's weekend
