"Every year I take three of my kids and their friends to an Adirondack cabin near the water for five days. This was a very nice, well-equipped house that had everything we needed for our annual getaway. However, this house is not in the Adirondack park!! I feel that the listing is false advertising because if you don't look at a map you won't know exactly where the house is, and you don't get the actual address until you book the property! This house sits just north and west of the northeastern edge of the park, about a 10 minute drive outside of the border. If I had known this I would not have chosen this spot. We didn't even get to drive through the park on the way there because it's so far north our trip was mostly driving between the park and the Canadian border. The river access is problematic too. Yes, you can walk down a path behind the house to the Salmon River, but there is no beach or anywhere to hang out that we could find. The only access is a large rock sitting in the water with vegetation on either side, and the Salmon River is COLD! This wasn't a huge deal, since we were able to find a river access site less than a mile to the south, but we had to drive there and share it with other people if we wanted to enjoy the water, which I have already said is arctic. Other than that, the host was very gracious and checked on us during our stay. Some things that would have been nice to have are a grill and small firewood pieces for a campfire."

"I had to be local to the area for work and we decided to stay overnight at the Red Roof Plus+ given the location and already great reviews. I can agree with others, this location was very clean and staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast included was a great addition. The only thing we can really say is that the bed was not the most comfortable but we did not reserve the upgraded room either. Overall, would definitely stay here again."

"This cabin was perfect for 2 people and 2 dogs! The seclusion was ideal for relaxing and allowing our dogs off-leash without concern. The sound of the river rapids was awesome and the breeze created made for very few bugs. Having the river right there was a huge bonus because it was hot and we could take a dip or cast a fishing line at any time. Helpful items I’m glad we brought and would recommend were a cast iron grill plate and water shoes. Definitely recommend this property!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Beth’s property in Malone and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area!Nestled in a peaceful, private wooded setting far away from other cabin on the property, this place offers total tranquility. We loved sitting by the fire pit at night—with zero light pollution, the stargazing was incredible, and we even spotted fireflies and heard a loon calling in the distance.The cabin itself is an absolute gem. Everything was brand new and impeccably clean, with a fresh, modern look that was in harmony with the Adirondack theme while remaining delightfully uncluttered.Beth thought of every single detail, providing everything we could have possibly needed—from coffee and creamers to a hair dryer, AC, and a cozy electric fireplace.We had a fantastic time and will definitely look forward to staying here again the next time we are in the Malone area!"
