What a relaxing a beautiful place to stay. Enjoyed some nature walks on the property and quietness to read and draw and puzzle. Great place for a get-away. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time - Andrew was very accommodating - bringing us wood for a campfire, checking in to make sure we were all set. We loved the property, location, and visits from Ollie. We look forward to staying here again!
Very relaxing. Our 2nd visit here and planning on coming back again. Beautiful cabin, great atmosphere and Ollie is such a good boy .

The cabin was a great cozy, retreat in the woods but still accessible to town. It was a short drive to get to spring skiing at Titus Mountain. The kitchen was stocked with all the amenities we needed for breakfast and dinner in. We hope to stay again in the warmer months to enjoy the rest of the property.
The cabin is absolutely wonderful. The location is wonderful. We loved unplugging and enjoying nature. The cabin itself was clean, really cute, and just the right size for a little getaway. I loved sitting on the screened porch. I would absolutely recommend the cabin to a friend.
My stay here was wonderful and rejuvenating! The cottage is a great size, perfectly furnished to enhance its woodsy location, and fully equipped with all the conveniences of home. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and the trails they created through their lovely property are well marked and cover a good distance. Loved being in the woods for my stay!
I'm so glad we chose this place to stay! The cabin is cozy and every need anticipated. The very best part of the stay is the woods. They are wonderful and I really enjoyed walking the trails everyday. We came away refreshed and ready for the new season.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cabin is really nice but surrounded by a lot of forestry.. which made the atmosphere feel just a little gloomy. The property is gorgeous and we were made to feel welcome by the host and their furry friend Ollie. We enjoyed exploring the trails.
Clean, well kept. Had everything we needed. Very quiet with plenty of walking trails. We were greeted every morning by the owners dog which was friendly. My wife loved the tub in the master bathroom. We will hopefully be back for another stay.
Our 2nd time here - did not disappoint! Clean and cozy, SO many pantry staples, beautiful grounds & trails, plus Ollie, the host dog that loves to show you around. Whether needing a base to explore the area, or, quiet downtime, Andrew & Heather offer a great spot. Tons of wild raspberries all along the yellow trail, spa tub, grill, and fire pit - plus lots of games & books as well. Highly recommend.
We had a fantastic stay at this cottage. The property is beautiful, cottage clean, warm and cozy. It had everything we wanted or could need. Our two pups hiked and romped in the woods with Ollie (owners dog) leading the way. The owner is very kind and engaging. We will definitely book again should we find ourselves up in the area.
Quiet, comfortable, relaxing and the pups enjoyed the location. Great location for walks with new everything for the dogs. Afterward I could sit on the screened porch with the dogs off leash and nor worry about them getting out. The amenities, such as a fantastic bed, shower, electronics and everything to prepare meals makes this location so appealing. So calm and quiet.
It was calming it was beautiful and the person whose cabinet is as well as his dog were both great! In fact the dog greeted us every day. I would do it again. And hope that I get to.
This is such a magical place. The cabin is located on a beautiful property with trails, gardens, and a happy hound, Ollie. The cabin was clean and comfortable and very well stocked with pantry items, kitchen appliances, and cookware. Andrew was such a welcoming and responsive host and even let us pick berries and tomatoes from his impressive garden. Ollie joined us on walks through the property and peeked in through the kitchen window to say hello. We loved our stay and would certainly try to book again when we come back to the area.
We returned to my companion's hometown of Malone to gather with family. We wanted to stay in a comfortable clean place that was not a corporate hotel. The cabin was perfect. Close enough to Malone yet quiet, peaceful, clean and restful. Thank you for sharing your cabin. With 8 siblings we always need some place for overflow. The cabin will be our go-to place whenever we are in town.
We enjoyed our stay at the serene and beautiful cabin with books, board games, and TV entertainment for the whole family. Oli, the dog, and Andrew, the host, made us feel very welcome. Our dog Nala made a special bond with Oli and played all day long, running into the woods with him. Thanks to Andrew for dog-sitting Nala while we spent the day skiing at the nearby slopes.
We'll definitely return to this cozy cabin and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quiet retreat surrounded by nature. Look no further than this delightful cabin.
My friend and I rented the Cozy Cabin for a long weekend to attend our 50th Class Reunion from Franklin Academy. The cabin was lovely and the beds comfortable. It had all the amenities we could need. It was like a comfortable spa cabin in the woods. Beautifully decorated and quiet and peaceful. The weather was beautiful and we could even keep the windows open for fresh country air. Although we did not have enough time to enjoy the hiking trails or the fire pit. It was inviting. Maybe next time.
We had a great 10 days at Cozy Cottage Escape. The host met us when we arrived and we were greeted inside with a bouquet of beautiful dahlias from his garden. The cottage was clean and warm, and the screened in porch is a bonus. Despite visiting in September, many of the flowers in the garden were still in bloom. We enjoyed our daily walks with our two dogs on the many trails and down by the creek, and were often accompanied by Ollie—the owner's big lovable dog. If you just want to get some peace and quiet in nature, this is the place.
Awesome! What a wonderful place to stay. The property is beautiful. Tranquility and serenity are plentiful and made for a relaxing stay. The owner is very generous with providing amenities such as bath soaps and full access to tv apps. He also has an unrestricted free-range policy to traverse his property on the trails which are pleasant. Additionally he provided firewood for the firepit which we enjoyed during our stay. His friendly dog Ollie even accompanied us on our walks.
I would definitely recommend this vacation location for others and I will keep this spot in mind for myself as well in the future. 5 star stay for sure!
We loved staying in this quiet cabin with our cats for 3 nights. We arrived at night and we're so glad to see the twinkle lights on the cabin because our GPS had stopped just off the road. There are two bedrooms with memory foam mattress and a full kitchen with all the coffee and tea you could ever want! The living room has a big tv that's wifi enabled so I could cast to it from my phone. The wifi was so great to have, not much service anywhere else. There are a couple miles of hiking trails on the property that we finally took advantage of on our last morning. We would definitely stay here again, especially in the winter with the cozy fireplace and heated floors in the bathroom.
