Each area/room had separate climate control, the bathroom floors were heated which was really nice. "We stayed at the cabin for 11 nights in October. It was amazing. Very well stocked. Everything from napkins and paper towels to shampoo. Plenty of nice, thick bath towels. Kitchen had every appliance and spice we could possibly need. Books and magazines. Jami even had firewood there for us to use! Plenty of parking. Quiet neighborhood - off the main road. Very nice furniture and decor. Make sure to see the custom painting of the cabin at the bottom of the stairs! We had personal business in Park City, but opted to stay in Brighton for more quiet time. It definitely checked that box. There were not a lot of restaurants to choose from - the pizza place at Solitude was open and good. And the little restaurant in the store in Brighton was open, but we did not eat there. But, we eat in most of the time, so this was not an issue for us. We took long walks around Silver Lake. And fished there - bringing in fresh trout for dinners! Horse backing riding was fun and gorgeous in the Aspen. Check out North Forty Escapes for that. They have sledding dogs and snowmobiles in winter. Our guide was Conrad - he was personable and went above and beyond to make our ride good. We drove into SLC one day for some shopping and visited the Toyota Museum. We had great weather - it snowed the day we arrived and once again before we left. Roads were no problem. Other days were sunny and the Aspens were in full glory. Brighton is a well-kept secret! We would stay here again! "
