"Only got to sleep there due to Board Mtg all day long. Bed was good with great pillows and GREAT LIGHTING in the room."

"The motel was in a lovely setting, oak trees with Spanish moss, a nice dock on the creek. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Several good restaurants close by, Prime Steakhouse, a little pricy but very good. Ciao Bella Italian great. We enjoyed our stay here."

"The room was nicely prepared by the staff for our anniversary weekend. The food in the restaurant was good, but seemed overpriced (it could have been included in the stay). Our suite had a hot tub, and it was older and not in the best condition, but it functioned properly. Staff was excellent and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable."

"The house was clean and plenty of paper towels and toilet paper! Bedding was perfect for our family. I liked that everything was on one level. Outdoor spaces were great and comfortable."

"The location was close to our event. The price was good. The staff was nice. As a female, I would not have wanted to stay there by myself.The door had a big gap under it. The floor was vinyl and smelled of harsh chemicals. I had just taken a shower, walked across the room and my feet were dirty from walking on the floor. The bathroom vent was broken. The lower hinge on the bathroom door was held together by a wire, not a pin. The corners , in the bathroom had visible dirt. The shampoo was very harsh. Soap was regular bar soap. Towels were small. The water pressure, in the shower was good.The sheets on the bed were polyester and the bedspread had stains. The motel was easy to drive past, so you had to look for the Waffle House to know where to turn. It was next to a Waffle House, It has some shopping close by and downtown is about 5 miles away(15-20 min drive)"

"Ideal rental for our nephews wedding. Location is fantastic and home amply stocked…including shampoo, conditioner, kitchen items, steamer iron, and so much more. The beds were very comfortable and the entire place was decorated nicely. The backyard was a necessity for our dog, it’s such a pain to walk on a leash the entire weekend so just opening the slider and letting him out in a secure yard was fantastic. The only slightly negative was there was a lot of former pup visitor #2 that we had to clean out upon arrival and the grass needed to be cut (some weeds thigh-high). Fortunately there was a thick grass area adjacent to the deck without weeds. I’m sure perhaps we just landed in weird timing with their maintenance schedule. Despite this, we’d recommend this as a GREAT place to stay in Charleston!! "
