We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very clean, check-in was quick and easy, and the entire experience felt smooth and stress-free. We really enjoyed spending time by the pool, and the location was great—convenient for getting around and exploring Charleston. New and modern establishment, the room was very nice. The location is within five minutes of the outlet mall (you can walk if you're not doing too much shopping!). Con: Having to pay for parking. I think it's another revenue avenue, and unnecessary. So one star off for that.

We stayed at Element for a week and our entire stay was phenomenal! Staff is very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Starting from the receptionist, to Tasha at the hotel bar, Betty and John Williams at the breakfast/lobby area. Excellent service and the rooms are always neat. Highly recommended place to stay when in Charleston.

A few little things but they add up. The hotels shuttle bus was parked at front entrance when we checked in ans still there an hour later when I went back out to retrieve a forgotten bag. Luckily it had stopped raining. Conditioner bottle was empty. Had to pay $10 parking for the lot right there at hotel. Not valet parking, me parking. Was told it was a county charge. Pizza joint right next almost sharing parking lot, no charge. Room was quite and clean though. No complaints with that.

Although late for breakfast, the part we did catch was great. Room was spacious and pull out couch was big and extra comfy.
