Forest Park Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean rooms and the building looks newly renovated. Didn't interact with the staff very much but they were nice when we checked in and when we called the lobby. There's just a few downsides, 1) our room did not have microwave in the building we're staying. I was told that there's a microwave in the 2nd floor but there wasn't. Only a small one in 3rd floor. 2) We got locked out of the building late at night and had to either find a different entrance or wait for somebody to come out. We tried calling the number from Google maps but there no one answered and said they were close. There's also a renovation going on in their property but I didn't hear any construction noise while we were staying there."

"Its a beautiful location, the rooms were clean and well appointed. We could hear people talking quite clearly in our although it was quiet by 10. The restaurant was very good."

Charming, cosy and surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery, they’re the perfect escape from the crowds of tourists in Jasper. As a solo traveller, I absolutely loved the peace, quiet and sense of being immersed in nature. The cabin was comfortable and welcoming, and the evenings were magical. The stars! I’ve rarely seen such a spectacular night sky. If you love wilderness, solitude and a little adventure, this place is a gem. I only wish I’d stayed longer. I would return in a heartbeat!"

"The property was clean and conveniently located. We appreciated the laundry machine since we were on a 2 week trip. However the beds were so rickety that it made it hard to sleep. Overall it was a great place but could be better if the beds were more solid."

"A very nice, well managed place. One of the easiest VRBO properties I've ever dealt with as far as reserving, paying and checking in and out. Spacious, plenty of parking, quiet and clean. Definitely would recommend this place!"

"Rustic but cozy and spacious property. We are a family of four and we had more than enough space for everyone with room to spare! The location was beautiful and truly in the mountains. Jasper is a 90 min scenic drive away. There’s a quaint country store/diner a couple of houses up the road. We had a bit of a water issue but Jim was super responsive and helped us immediately. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and it was a great value for the money."

"This house had one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen. You feel like you can walk out onto the deck and straight into Jasper National Park. The hosts are so friendly and helpful and everything was so clean and clearly labeled and organized inside the house. It is in the community of Jasper East - so outside of downtown but there is an amazing little brewery down the road and Hinton is about 1/2 an hour up the road with big stores to stock up."
