" We came to explore Caves Point and Whitefish Dunes State Park in the winter only a few miles away so the location was perfect. Also near by were all the wonderful little unique towns we love about Door County with fantastic eating options, shopping and wine tasting. After exhilarating winter hikes we came back to this cozy little cottage with the wood burning stove that offered a beautiful view of the lake. Clean, comfortable beds and all the wood we needed to keep the stove going we couldn’t have asked for more. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. There was plenty of room for our 9 adults and 2 dogs. The inside of the cabin is beautiful in craftsmanship and in decor. Outside is where this place really shines. The property includes a walking trail to the end of the peninsula. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit, grilling out, eating at the big serving table, fishing from the pier. A pontoon boat is also available for rent, and we made good use of that. The owner was very timely and responsive to any questions we had. Located just south of Jacksonport, its central location is convenient to both Sturgeon Bay to the south and to Egg Harbor, Baileys Harbor, and the other towns of Door County to the north. A wonderful place to relax for a week and forget your troubles."
