Property was excellent and well maintained. Restaurant- Food was excellent! However, management was less than desirable. Guests turned away from several open tables that remained empty during our dinner. 45 minute wait for food- but food was excellent.

A great getaway

A last minute trip. This hotel reminded us of a B & B. Very nice, very quiet, and located in a great lication. A very comfortable bed combined with a quiet setting equales a good nights sleep. We will definitely stay here again and will recomend it to family and friends.

This historical inn was a lovely place for us to stay at for our minimoon in Door County! We loved all of the historical touches (this property is on the list of National Register of Historic Places) as well as the cozy fireplace. The food at their restaurant and free continental breakfast was fantastic. The location of the property is quiet while still being close to all of great small businesses on 3rd Ave in Sturgeon Bay. The Inn at Cedar Crossing is a great place for a couple's getaway at any time of the year.

Overall, very nice place. We enjoyed our room and our stay. I like to have a good breakfast in the morning and there was not really much for selection on property but there is a cafe across the street and other places to go as well. Convenient to walking around downtown Sturgeon Bay and walking paths along the water and bay as well.

We were looking for a place that was generally quiet but convenient to the area. It is really right off main street so very easy walking to restaurants, coffee, shopping, etc. The Inn itself was very nice. The room was quite comfortable and well furnished with re-purposed antique furniture-we even had a moderate sized balcony. Bkft was fine with an assortment of usual choices and some fresher baked goods if wanted. We would definately recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Cozy bed and eclectic decor. Love the history. Made me wonder if my grandparents had ever been in the building. Porch/balcony was nice. Lots of food for breakfast. Pretty quiet. Attached restaurant was pretty amazing. One thing: Fireplace is gas and was off, but still emitting a bit of heat which was weird. Saw a blue light in the lower left corner of the inside. It rained briefly and the rain was really loud inside the fireplace.

Elegant, private, and wonderful

We loved this inn. Our room was elegantly decorated with antiques, including a very comfy four poster bed. There is ample storage. The bathroom had a pedestal sink, marble floors, a large jetted tub, and a stained glass window. We were delighted to find homemade cookies in our room, as well as complimentary bottled water. The building is on the National Register, so there are lovely architectural elements, including some exposed brick walls. There are only six rooms in the inn, each one decorated differently from the others. Some even have balconies Our room was very quiet. The rooms share a comfortable breakfast area with a lovely continental breakfast. No cooked foods, but delicious homemade granola, scones, and morning buns. The room is always a available, with coffee and tea, a microwave, an assortment of snacks, books, and a Bose radio. Due to COVID and maybe labor shortages, the desk is only open 10-4. The rooms aren't serviced during your stay; you can get toiletries, glasses, and other supplies in the breakfast area. The inn couldn't be in a better location. It's surrounded by little shops and restaurants and is a short walk from the waterfront and lighthouse. One caveat: because it's a historic building, the inn is not accessible. It's on the second floor, and there is no elevator. The entry is by a long, steep flight of stairs, topped with a very heavy fire door. Getting in could be a challenge for people with respiratory problems, balance issues, etc.
