"A pleasant family run hotel right on the beach in Agia Roumeli. The family is so kind and friendly — made the stay extra enjoyable. The hotel dinner and breakfast were both very good and set on a terrace overlooking the beach. Really loved our stay there. "

"We had a great stay here - house was beautiful and well equipped and the remoteness and private pool were great for a relaxing stay in Crete. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. On top of that Erato was super hospitable and responsive to our needs - highly recommended!"

"Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse. Very limited kitchen facilities, clothes washer and dishwasher smelled moldy, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The Dog next door barked a lot all hours of the day and night. "Hmm. This is a very good property and would be excellent anywhere else in the world but standards in Greece/Crete are very high. It's a little gloomier inside photos suggest with only limited natural light. There is construction work going on literally adjacent to the property currently so expect some noise and essentially the outdoor balcony space is off-limits during the daytime. Some minor maintenance niggles. Seems a bit mean providing a coffee machine but no capsules but hey ho. This is a...
